i was just getting ready to run some cables in my 32gtr like power cable and rca's etc.. and was wondering on an easy way to get under the carpet without damaging anything?? i have done work on my old commodore where i simple took off the door foot panels and had room to run the cables there, but the 32 has no room there and when i took the panels off, the carpet seems to be stapled to the floor... is there an easy way to run the cables that i'm not seeing?? thought i'd ask beofre i go ripping stuff out. thanks for any suggestions..

they actually have purple top.... do u think its would be worth the effort to make them compatible? they are quite cheap.. or should i just save the time and effort it and look for some low impedence injectors?? is it an expensive/ inefficient process or simple?? cheers

cheers thanks for the info.. i think they have a brown top so looks all good, if they did happen to be high impedence tho is it a big job to remove the factory dropping resistot pack from the loom?? and after doing so would they then work exactly like low impedence injectors?? thanks agn..

i have heard that a cheap and effective upgrade for the RB26 440cc injectors is a set of RX7 series IV 550cc injectors that fit striaght into the fuel rail.. there is a guy selling a set of 550cc injectors that are off a 13B turbo.. but he isnt sure what series they are from? without knowing what series, would it still be safe to assume that they would be suitable for use on an RB26 or not?? i think he said they were used on a VL turbo for a while if this helps? thanks for any info..

hmm yeh i have been pricing some power fc's atm, and should hopefully pick one up soonish... the boost cut has happened another 2 times now... and it is always in a high gear 4th 5th whilst accelerating hard.. i'l take the car in for a service soon and c if i can get a basic tune till i can pick up an aftermarket ecu.. thanks for all ur help wrxhoon,

yeh i took it for a drive yesterday morning and it was all fine.. boosting as normal.. must have just been the computer cutting it back like u said.. is this something that will hapen frequently now? i have had the car about 3 weeks and its the first time its happened... would u recomend get the car dyno tuned etc.. cheers.

thanks for reply, yes i do have stock ecu.. i was hopeing is was just an electrical problem like that, which will correct itslef when it cools down.. i'l leave it over night and c how it goes tomorro, otherwise i will try the test u mentioned... thanks agn, much appreciated..

hi ppl, i have a 32 gtr which iwas driving all day today and when i was about 5 min from home i merged onto the freeway doing about 120k in 4th gear prob on full boost... about 0.9bar then boost dropped down to about 0.6 bar... there were no bangs or noises or any jerks or smoke etc.. nothing at all.. but the car wouldnt boost above about 0.6 bar in any gear after that... i'm yet to drive the car since this has happened as i'm worried somthing bad may have happened.. anyone have any idea what might have happened? i couldnt have blown a turbo or anything without knowing it could i? thanks for any help.. p.s 32gtr with full zorst and stock turbo's..

hmm thanks for advice guys, my boost guage shows the car is hitting about 8-10psi atm.. with no form of BC at all.. but it does have full zorst system and twin air pods... so i migh just wait till i get a bc.. as i DEFINATELY dont wana blow anything up thanks for the help.. much appreciated -

thanks for the link, but i'm quite unfarmiliar with where the boost controll solonoid is or waht it looks like.. having never owned a turbo car at all b4. i know what to look for.. being a black hose with a yellow band indicating where the restrictor is... but dont know where to look, there are lots of black hoses... is it anywhere near the pressure hose that u tap into to run a boost guage off? does that hose lead to your BC solonoid? coz i can follow that hose but it dissapears behind the back of the engine.. ? cheers -
hi ppl, i have read in many places a quick and easy way to raise boost pressure to close to 1 bar in a gtr is to remove the restrictor in the pressure line going to the factory boost-controll solonoid.. it is apparently marked by a yellow band.. but where exactly is it?? can any1 give me exact directions to finding what i'm looking for? (left right front back top bottom.. etc etc) its a 32gtr. thanks for the help..

i have installed my new hks turbo timer, replacing a much older version of the same timer that came with the car, the old timer was working fine, where as this new timer has power etc and appears to work fine but when i turn the car off the timer simply turns off also and therefore i get no countdown. i grounded it and pluged it into ignition thingy, just like how the other one was setup, there are 2 other cables that are not plugged into anything.. no sure what they are.. but the old timer ony had one spare wire.. which was also unplugged and it still worked fine.. anyone know what the problem might be?? cheers,

i hvae an apexi EL II BG i am attempting to install into my R32, i hvae found the pressure hose in the engine bay and inserted the T piece all fine, i was just wondering where abouts to cennect up the 12v power cable?? as i obvoiusly only want the light to come on when i turn myheadlights on.. and once ths is done is that all that is need to be done?? thanks for any help cheers.

thanks for the reply, but i just founf out yesterday before i drove the car to the compliance workshop that the fuse was missing for the 4wd system (duh) :Oops: i havent replaced the fuse yet but hopefully that should fix the problem, thanks agn.

hi ppl, i just have a question regarding my 32 gtr, i just picked it up yesterday, and constantly the 4WD light on the dash stay's on.. is this a bad thing? obviously it means something is wrong.. do i have 4wd operating?? any ideas what to get checked out when i take it in for a service? cheers,

hi, i am thinking of buying a seciond hand after market clutch for my 32 gtr, it is a " nismo g max twin plate sprung centred clutch including flywheel. the cover and intermediate plate is made of alloy and the lightened nismo flywheel is steel heat treated " it came of an rb25 and was in full working oder, but the owner recomends getting it rebuttoned to help it have a longer life. i just wanted to ask whats rebuttoning? compared to getting it fully reco'd... and i rang a few clutch places to get a quote on getting it rebuttoned and they all told me they would need to send it away to get done, and no one gould give me any kind of estimate on what it would cost, they all said they would need to c the clutch.. can anyone give me any kind of idea what sort of cost i might be looking at to get some work on the clutch to 'freshen' it up a bit thanks for any info.. cheers

hi pplz, just wondering about what kind of BOV's are suitable for 32 gtr? ive sourced a cheap hks ssq item, but will this fit? apparently u need 2 pipes connect it up? silly Q, but u 'dont' need 2 bov's for a twin turbo car correct? thanks in advance..
