  2. ok guys. the stock will be avaliable in 2 months time hopefully there will be 10 ppl by that time. pm me with your information and the colour of the pipe you prefer (chrome, plain or red). I will keep you guys updated about how many ppl are in. 4door_Sleeper I got the cooler installed in my car and I am very happy about it myself. It has 0.2 pressure drop at 15psi and reduce intake air temp. from 128 to 28. I never heard any negative comments about this particular brand. the difference between different brand of intercooler kits might be the difference of the piping set up. If you go to the link I provided you will find out that this piping set up is cross flowed setup. as far as I know, this is the most efficient way. I have seen many ppl with bad piping set up and cause 3psi pressure drop at 15psi.
  3. can the stock internals take 1.3bar of boost?? I heard the standard RB25 will break down if you boost it over 16psi
  4. good for 700HP. standard r33 gtst turbo can only take about 180rwkw max, thats 250HP. This intercooler is way enough for the standard turbo.
  5. Raza, I will find out if they have 600X300X90 in stock, and how much will it cost you. what sort of power are you chasing? do you really need it to be that big??

They have plenty stock avaliable. boostimports I will let you know if there will be a 2nd batch or not. but first I have to find out how many ppl are interested. at least get the first batch done. come on guys, get your tax return done and then you will have enough money =)
  7. generally, without getting your engin tuned, you should expect 30rwkw gain. do a bit of reasearch on the forum and u will find lots of comments. and especially with Australia climate standard intercooler is way too small for summer. Big intercooler like this makes your car runs healthier and increases power. The intercooler fits Type M bar. perfectly.   12. Benm, I got the daikin heavy duty clutch fitted today as well. mine didnt seem to be as hard to drive as yours. The clutch pedal is even slightly lighter than the original and I can get the car moving without even touching the accelerator just by using the natural pull which I couldnt do with my standard clutch.and one more thing, its much harder to put the gear into 1st and reverse. It feels like there are not enough oil or lubricant or something. do you have the same prob Benm? I give it a few hard launch at 3000rpm and theres nothing smelly at all. I asked the mechanic who fit the clutch for me and ask him why the pedal is so light. he told me he put some grease at the bearing.
  13. williamc I'v done mine at my mates work shop. its almost a DIY job. doesnt seem too hard. a few things I think might be helpful. 1) mount the intercooler first. then do the piping. 2) make sure the clamps are really tight 3) measure preciously where the 3inch hole is located 4) put some rubber near that hole. so the pipe wont get damaged by rubbing with the body.
  14. in zoom's No 46 issue. I saw a section gives information about Toyota's turbo. In issue No.42 they have info about Nissan's turbo. Does anyone here got that issue and could post out the info about skyline r33 gtst turbo's info. like Max Boost and Max rwkw? thanx.
  15. since the last time my car was tuned. I got 3'inch turbo back and highlow cat, FMIC installed. I didnt feel any difference at all after I install all those stuff. I just assume its time for a retune.
  16. but SAFC isnt a plug&play computer. it is classified as a piggybag. SAFC could have less functions if you compare it to unichip. and that probably why it costs alot more to tune a unichip. I will need to get my car retuned next week. each time it costs me $550. work that out.
  17. piggybag stuff could cost more in the long run. I got a unichip. and it costs me 550 each time to get it retuned. and now I just put a FMIC in. its due for anther tune. bloody expensive stuff. how much does ppl charge to get power FC installed and tune?
  18. im looking at upgrade my clutch soon. so far I got quoted $880 for 6 botton clutch what do ppl usually for to get the clutch done? I also heard that some place rebuild your original clutch and make it stronger, and its more drivable. has anyone done this before?
