Nice work Matt. Just finished reading all 104 pages of this thread! .. and yes that certainly was me who spun out in front of you at SMSP (South) almost a year ago now. Can't believe how much you've put into this car!
Decided to read up on what you did as my 33 is off the road for now and after spending half my weekend just ripping stuff out of of the engine bay I stood back to look at the sorry thing and thought... "time for an upgrade!" Wish I had just a fraction of the time you must have put into the build. I can't wait to get started but it's going to be a long road though everything you've detailed here will save me a hell of a lot of time.
Looking forward to seeing the 34 on the track again sometime.. hopefully not in the too distant future.
Hi all,
Just clearing a few bits and pieces that have been around in the garage for a while. These are all stock parts off an R33 GTS-T. Items are located in Artarmon NSW. Pickup only.
HICAS Rack - $50
Stock Intercooler - $20
Rear Camber Arms (with Whiteline adjustable bushes in) - $20
Stock Wheels. The wheels are in excellent condition and just in need of a clean. Tyres included though they are very old but probably great for a skid pan day. - $100
PM me if interested.
Cheers,
David
... I got pretty close! After the second session out I realised the radiator was cracked. Somehow the car still took a flogging and made it home
Tops day mate and thank for organising it.
Awesome day out! Thanks for organising Pete.
I had my first taste of semi's and I think I'm hooked. Totally transformed the feel of the car on the track.
Hi guys.. more a question for those that have been to Marulan before.. unlike myself. Is there a suitable area to leave things like tools, jack, spare wheel, etc, whilst out on the track? Under cover preferably.
I've been looking at a number of HICAS locking/eliminating options and came across the Tomei locking kit (which also does the electronic blocking to fool the ECU).
Can anyone confirm if this works fine with a Power FC?
Most likely I'll go the plain and simple (and cheap!) locking bar option but still curious about the Tomei.
