Yeah well stop hoggin all their time one min I hear that your power porting your stock manifold, the next your not. That is of course if your car is the blue R32 as the one in your pictures They're pretty flat out there currently and we'll they need a couple extra mechanics eg 3rd year+ apprentices and full up to speed mechanics.. Then Richo can focus on sorting out the tuning and Ron can do the mechanical

Excellent, don't look too close at the Front Bar, it's cracked worse then a crack whore on a binge... I'll be fixing the far rather then replacing it as, its a one off fitment to my car. There's a white R33 skyline heading south from Wynnum Rd onto the Gateway usually about the same time I am (5:00-5:20pm) turning north on to the Gateway at Wynnum Rd.. has a veilside rear bar, unsure of the front maybe a Jun or Trust bar very sexy... Kinda rear bar I wanna get with a diffuser. There's a sexy Metallic Grass Green Skyline at Allstar Tuning too at the moment thats been gutted.. very nice paint job.

I'm prob the White R33 with LED tail lights, haven't seen any others with em.. 400R Nismo Series 2 Front Bar.. eg instead of large side vent, its two slotted vents.. very dirty at the moment.. been in the shop over the past 7mths.. just back on the road and well going back into ALLSTAR @ Geebung tomorrow for some fix ups. Drive gateway everyday except Thursday and Sundays - Deagon to Tingalpa.. with the 2 Alpine 12" Subs usually kicking some sort of music.. Did see a couple Skylines too, R34 4 Door.. shit they look nice, anyone wanna swap? Did see a S1 R33 heading south on the gateway today too.

Just a few cents... Been using All Star since I purchased my Skyline (3-4yrs) and was recommended by them to install a Haltech. Must admit, should of keep the pennys and moved up to a Motec but hey we all can't get what we want all the time. My car has been in for the last 6 months.. well I didn't need it as the missus had a work car but now she's changed jobs.. Anyways I have always had some minor issues with cold starts because the Haltech doesn't have a AFM, I have found a few stabs of the accelerator before starting and a couple once you've kicked it over will help. I had the same problems of stalling and idle bump all over the place.. Currently each morning I'll do what I just said and its fine and idles around 1000rpm. My current problem is my Haltech is old now E6H and finding after my latest update.. Port and Polish, new manifold and sending the ECU back to Haltech so the get them to rectify the communications module for the laptop not working. The car will rev to 5500 without a hitch, once it hits 5500 the haltech ignition module voltage drops from 12v to 3.2v. Haltech no longer support my model ecu but Richard was good enough to get on the net and found US Drag Cars using the same model had the same problems and are using a simple resistor kit to get it fixed. Richard is an exceptional mechanic and when it comes to electronics and cars he is right up there. Think he has an electronic engineering degree, from memory. Currently the car is set up as follows: Stock Engine with port and polished headwork (just done, so unsure of additional benefit until put back on dyno) ARE Intercooler with 2.5" Piping Stock Turbo Hi Flowed 2 yrs ago, still looks and feels great, will hold 22-24 psi no prob, only using 15psi approx (need a ECB) 3.5" Dump to Tip Apexi N1 Exhaust, CAT only and one Dog/Muff at the tip. Haltech E6H with Haltech Ignition Modules 750cc Nismo Injectors - should of only done 555cc Richo reckoned.. I source these from Nengun myself. 700hp in tank fuel pump with Sard Rising Reg. Monsta Performance Manifold, however Richard believe the stock one is just as good. - Had to try ebay for something besides accessories All else stock.. maybe a upgrade clutch supplied by All Star... Richos last dyno before the port and polish was 240rwkw with 1100nm torque. Also, I have found many other tuners send there work to All Star when they can't get it working either.. Hopefully after Thursday Richo will have my car running smooth and getting closer to that 300rwkw that I wanted to achieve when I first go the car. Peace out... P.S haven't found another tuner and the one I did have a chat to has moved (predetor Motorsports) whom where just down the road from Bob Romano.. who mind you is way way more exspensive.. $597 for a Service with no Dyno... All Star $300 with an Hours Dyno approx..

Well, The story goes like this. Getting Married in April 07', would really like to have my dream car (R34 GTR Z Tune) available for hire or loan? I own a R33 GTST but well I would prefer to have my girl ride in a GTR. Anyone know of anyone whom may hire out R34 GTR? Anyone interested in helping a fellow Skyliner out? Doesn't have to be a Z Tune, like that'd happen... Would prefer White, Black or the lovely GTR Blue. Any assistance would be great. Oh yeah.. In Brisbane - Northside Cheers

R34 Models
aridyne replied to aridyne's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
I contacted RAWS whom just showed me the same form that you guys pointed me to so. They just said all R34's are ok as long as it doesn't have the RB20DE, and the form states the 25GT-X Four and 25GT Four are okay. The power to weight criteria also seems to be met with the RB25DE being 105kw/tonne Now its a matter of getting one and stuff like insurance I think. Being that it's a rare style of the R34 will compliance be different as well? -

The GT-X Four is a RB25DE same engine as GT and GT-V and GT-X. So its not an engine thing for sure.. Someone please say yes to the GT-X FOUR.. I need a family car for the missues that I can play with when not driving my R33. -

Yeah I am really keen on a 4 Door GT-X or GT-V, but really the GT-X FOUR would be ideal as its 4WD. I don't understand why they wouldn't allow the GT-X Four in as its the same power and a GT-V or GT. It has better options as far as I can see and is 4WD. -
Hi, I am keen on getting a R34 either GT-X or GT-V. My concern is that I have been told that the GT-X FOUR is not avialable to import due to the power to weight ratio as it is a 4WD rather then RWD. I thought with a 4WD being a safer option that it would be. Can anyone please let me know what R34 Models can be imported into Australia. I know there is a few models: GT (2DR and 4DR) RWD GT-T (2DR and 4DR) RWD GT-X (2DR and 4DR) RWD GT-X FOUR (2DR and 4DR) 4WD GT-V (2DR and 4DR) RWD GT-R (2DR Only) 4WD Are these correct and can any of these be imported? Thanks heaps for any assistance. Cheers Aridyne

I find Metholayted Spirits the best to clean crap of the cars paintwork, once that is done then use meguires to polish and protect it. Helps get rid of Bat poo too So who's paying for postage?
-

It was brought to my attention that using a Toyota Landcruiser Cat is a really inexpsensive way to replace your CAT. Apparently they are around $180 bucks and flow very well. I would like to see a bench test before making a decision though. Anyone else heard of this suggestion?
