  1. No problems Terry, welcome
  2. I always go up to Seal rocks/Boomerang beach/Blues Point there surfing. You woulda past it depending which way you went. If you stay on the road that is right next to the beaches, go check it out. I got a fair few shots from up there in project 365, see if you can guess which ones!
  3. I don't know why your printing company would use sRGB... sRGB is only about 90% of the colour gamut, whereas AdobeRGB(1998) uses around 97%-98%. Will always be better colours with AdobeRGB, i suggest you change your printing company as 98% will use AdobeRGB or CMYK for printing massive stuff and business cards etc... BigW etc.. uses AdobeRGB/sRGB/CMYK etc... They will use anything lol. Brett - I use Apple's cloth they give you with an iPod lol. Best cloth i've ever used because it doesn't have the little pieces of fluff that always come off lol...
  4. What do you drive? Blue R34GTR with stock rims and stock height with exhaust? Or the blue 34GTR with ACCESS plates? I drive a white corolla with a FMIC, black wheels with polished lip. If you see me around give me a t00t! Can catch up for some photos or something
  5. Are they PSD's? Or are they .xmp's? If they are .xmp's you can delete them. The .xmp is just photoshops way of remembering what adjustments you've made in ACR. Find out what file they are for and if you have already edited it and saved it in full res/for web etc.. then who cares lol, just delete it. I must admit because i'm stuck in an office, project 365 is extremely hard. With daylights savings its fine though. It's just hard during non-daylight savings because i get home and its dark already!
  6. Nice Jay! I guarantee they will all be gone by the end of the year LOL!
  7. Yeewww another project 365 starter! I wish i was a bike courier so i could get random shots all around Sydney! Instead i'm stuck in a stupid office!
  8. Who cares about some lame house your watching get built! You got 25so years you can look at it! Anyhow, i'm in the same boat as Matt. The later it gets, the more i'm not going to be able to make it. I vote November 14 should be good. It's true about the girl, but it will be more of a shoot of THE GIRL instead of the car. I still say we split it up and some people shoot the car and then switch and shoot the girl, the other group shoots the car. Then at the end we can combine it.
  9. Any bikini shot in front of a car is cheap. No matter what. Location will be around Homebush. Just say that. Print out at a model release as well!!!! Any of those dates are fine for me i assume at the moment. I don't think there will be that many people we will need 3 models. 2 will be plenty. It will give the people who have never co-ordinated people/models an opportunity to get rid of there nerves and learn to shoot models. I'll bring my strobes so you can play with them. Although unsure how long the vagabond will last lol, i'm guessing 2 and a bit hours probably. We need cars now!!
  10. Didn't realize this thread was like this, but Worped, i can't stop watching your Display Pic GIF and laughing my fcuking ass off. It never gets old. It just gets funnier and funnier and funnier.
  11. Nice vid Eric! Turned out great and good to see some of the mountain pass footage was able to be used. Sorry to ruin the ending by walking through as well!! My blog article and all pics can be found here: www.koryleungphotography.com.au/blog
  12. Theres a lot of industrial buildings around Homebush. If you want something dark and savvy then Alexandria/Redfern is the place to go, but ummmm yeah, they speak for themselves. DAY TIME ONLY!!! Lolz0rz. Shooting seperately is a good idea. Maybe, IF you want, talk with the model and ask if she will do a few poses near the car. Remember she will want some good photos for her portfolio too etc... Homebush seem's pretty central to everyone, it's a good starting point. We need a date and how many people are coming and what time to meet. After this one, if it goes successfully we can continue to do it monthly
  13. Your transformers sticker pic that we de-faced? Oh snap.
  14. I'd love to give it a go Eric, but to be honest at the moment i don't have the time. Too much photography wise. Maybe over the holidays, i will have a crack at filming some random stuff and getting used to Final Cut Pro Argh, so much to re-learn!
  15. Damn, didn't make first in... SECOND IN!! Ummmm.... Hi.
  16. Nah not a shootdown, remember this is the interwebz and don't take us too seriously.... Rallye - Your welcome to come, your like 16 aren't you? How about you come... and we never saw you DEAL! Haha. Well when i say i don't like 'em, the poses in hot4's etc, they just don't work. To make it work with the model outside the car standing somewhere/leaning etc.. is hard. And Nick - Yep. Strategically placed. We don't want to be like perverts, lets face it. It would give a bad name to SAU also, which is definitely what we don't want and don't want people saying bad things about us as people either. We'll also need model releases and a location decided upon. We'll need a MUA as well. Discuss!
  17. Nah I don't think it's odd... I kinda don't like it either... BUT As a first meetup I recommend it, that way we can then decide if we like it or not Either way we can do it both ways. Model shoot and work the car into it. Does anyone have harnesses in there car? Topless driver seat shot with harnesses is the only "good" shot I think there is with a girl and a car. Otherwise they are just a massive distraction lol. And no... I don't want to see b00bs, I'm trying to act professional here lol
  18. 2 models, 2 cars, 2 groups. Sounds good. The one we shot in Hyde park. The overseas chick with huge kajunas.
  19. If you have a missus they have to bring food and drinks too. Sounds fair eh? Haha. Maybe one month we shoot cars, the next month we shoot Landscapes? Who's interested anyway? I gather, Sidd, Matt, Owen, Lepperfish?, Barra? - Who else?, Eric?, Matt (Godspeed)? People who can watch via facetime and fr0th: Zennon, Jay, Serg, Tabby, Rhys, ssjTitan haha jk. Seriously, you should get a WA meet going, there is enough of you!
  20. Make it happen Sidd. Get some uber hotties off MM! That chick we shot. Get her. I wanna see her in a bikini. She was pr0n I'm in. What about we do some light painting and then head into the city for some nightscapes? Make it a monthly occurance?
  21. Lepperfish - Manly Fishos?! Thats 2 mins down the road from me, do you live around here? I live in Allambie Heights. I like the plan Nick! Both of them would work. That way there would be a bit of chat in here, but not as much as this month lol. Maybe a kind of "lounge" area to discuss everything and anything photography related. And then get a monthly photo thread going. Winner gets SAU goodies like stickers or something and the yearly winner takes your stagea Hahaha.
  22. Owen you is a l33t haXx0rz! I'm assuming your DP won't display because the size is way too big or the pixel dimension is too big.
  23. I have the interest and used to do it when i was younger with adobe premiere, but i didn't follow it up and now i'm way too far behind with all this hektik technology.
  24. Looks like your running solo Eric...LOL. I'll be watchin this thread.
  25. Nice shots Lepper! You can easily see why ISO3200 is so useable, especially at web size. You could of cranked it up to 6400 and it still would look clean (at web size) and reasonably clean at full res. Post more pics!
