  1. Also - Maybe an SAU banner can be sorted out and laid in front of the cars?
  2. Awesome! I know what Erics car looks like and your red 32GTR, what does Duncan and Steven's cars look like? If they are dumped and on there ass it would help letting us know, that way we know what kind of locations are accessible incase of speedhumps/ditches etc... Last thing i would want is broken carbon fibre lips and diffusers everywhere.
  3. Post some wedding pics then b!tch!!
  4. Awesome, well the rolling shot is what i'm keen for as i have it in my head, though impossible without a rig, will still look awesome, providing how far i can hang out the door lol. Group shots will look great too. Especially if they are light painted. We'll aim for a cliche tail lights shot also (staggered grouping), front on shot, side angle shot and then creative light painting time is what i have in mind. Sounds like a plan. Let us know guys!
  5. I'm thinking the last weekend of the month may suit everyone best, as it gives people time to accomodate it into there schedule? Late evening light is fully intended for light painting Matt! Derrrrrrrrr hahaha. We can try a 5 car light paint and combine 11ty bajillion images. Along with single cars also. I've got a fair few shots in my head i want to try as well as some individual shots also. If only i had my rig BTW - If we do it somewhere that has a really large area, i'm thinking of lining all the cars up in order and doing a rolling shot as well as a staggered rolling shot. Eastern Creek carpark would be great/wide streets somewhere?
  6. Best time to meet would be around 5 to meet up. That way it's no rush and we'll get awesome evening light and a chance to chill out instead of at a frantic pace. I live on the northern beaches, work mon-fri and don't finish until 530 so by the time i got out there during the week it would be too late. A saturday or sunday would suit me, i know you guys do a lot of track work etc... so propose a date and i'm sure i'll be free. As long as everyone can attend it should be great! I'm sure Eric (Pezhead) will do some video on the day as well. Maybe a bit of BTS.
  7. I hope that old manual lens you borrowed from work Matt has shot out of his exhaust by now...
  8. Hahahahahahahaha. I think Matt actually likes your sticker. He is obsessed with transformers!
  9. Looks the goods! I likey. Out west = How far for me to drive?
  10. So tempting and so cheap!!!
  11. I'm thinking a nasty warehouse type. Abandoned factory searching FTW!!!!!!!! Or we could shoot in a much more safe underground carpark somewhere.
  12. Hahahaha. Well hmm... What Matt did - I'm unsure if Rain/water will affect it.... Will it matt??
  13. Nah it's not eggwhite on the roof. Where the fcuk would we pull that from. Matt did lay an egg though. Have you washed your car lately?
  14. DJMGTR - Thats manly! Two minutes away from my house! Looks great, nice photo Brian - No problems mate, sounds like an awesome idea! If you can gather the folks i think it would be a great! A 32,33,34,35 would look great. Would love to shoot it. Do you have any locations in mind (I haven't really scouted out western suburbs way, there are a few locations out my way but i know it's so far away from you. I'm willing to travel to see this pr0n eye-saw!!! Will scout some locations this weekend/wh0re forums out for locations used previously that can accomodate 5 cars.
  15. Oh Owen.... You'll know about it as soon as it's sunny, which is predicted for Sunday! Be reeeaaalllyyy careful about letting it bake! It's something so obvious you would of overlooked it
  16. I believe Matt and I will be joint venturing So you'll get extra awesome photo's haha.
  17. Totally understand about the access part. Hard to get good shots from spectator POV's sometimes, but these turned out great and i wouldn't even know you were a spectator until you just told me I shoot at 200mm or 500mm with the IS off when panning. I have had varied results with IS on when shooting below 1/100th because of the slight movement. I mostly shoot at 1/50th, though when IS is on, i get results that seem soft etc.. but i do the same thing (basically) and the results are fine with IS off. The milliseconds it takes IS to kick in, i've already taken the shot, so i just turn it off now and get consistent results. Have a play with it! Each to there own i suppose though.
  18. They look really good! Great work mate
  19. Hhmmm....If it was me, i probably would look straight over it. It's so obvious you'd never know...
  20. Some nice shots there Serg! Are you panning at around 1/100th? It looks like it. Maybe try and drop your shutter speed to 1/80th or 1/60th in a few shots because the backgrounds are so "busy" but besides that, loving them! Great shots, kinda jealous NSW doesn't have this stuff (That is close to me anyway). Nick - I haven't even started on Photo5 yet lol. Will start on thursday Matt - I think its because the bridge is angled with the "Hektik" angle and the foreground is kind of straight so your eyes play tricks on you. Owen - Lucky it's not Sunny today!!!
  21. Absolute pr0n! Totally looking forward to shooting some of these cars Steve-O! Such high calibre! I think an awesome shot would be all the GTR-32X (X being a letter). So far i've seen at least 10 cars with these plates!
  22. Ooooo i see. I've been meaning to get shirts made up just been really lazy. I was thinking of getting a jumper instead. Some sweet pics here though, i must take more photos off my iphone!
  23. Nah i mean the horizon isn't straight because it's tilted. That kind of way. It's an abstract shot and i like it, but i would prefer it more if it was straight. On another note - I'm watching the Jasmine star Creative Live show (All 5 days of it i have). If your a wedding photographer - She really has direction! She knows what she wants straight away. Although i find it weird how she changes lenses. She doesn't put front or rear caps on, puts them in her shootsac and then changes by just ripping them off and chucking them in her bag. I would imagine she would get her sensor cleaned after every wedding for free anyway but still... And when she shoots, she presses the shutter and the whole camera tilts down. Either way her photos are fcuking amazing and i respect her alot! Yes i'm looking at you Sidd asking for it off me already lol. It's 16GB.
  24. pr0n car!! Would love to shoot this car!!! Great number plates also!
  25. Well we did do something I shall not reveal the secret though Matt i don't think tilts work on landscapes. It's just something "wrong" about it. I like the processing though. Makes it seem like an old film photograph!
