  1. ok i made 190rwkw at ~14psi which isn't *too* shabby to be honest no boost controller need a decent one to hold that can ~18psi
  2. 18psi should be safe for most rb20s it helps force the air in your case is very odd waldo, cause tomei poncams i was looking at doing down the track
  3. its being tuned right now should have results in a day or 2
  4. Still no date for the pizza night yet?
  5. how many kws you making now predator?
  6. remove it if want want the space plug up the lines or better yet remove all the lines back to the plenum and plug them there unless the cop knows his shit he probably won't notice it gone
  7. yeah i certainly wouldn't say no dust my front wheels look like 2 piece because of all the dust ^ about a week after i fitted them you should see them now (i refuse to wash the wheels )
  8. i guess some people prefer pads to wear rather than rotors but seeing how much some people are paying for pads, i think i'd rather rotors for the record i've got bendix ultimates, good cheap pad had no real fade issues at all on the track and they stop great they do eat the rotors a bit though (not enough to worry) and make a lot of dust (which is necessary to make no squeal, plus the brake dust looks tough)
  9. i never said it had abs
  10. IMPLEASE?
  11. i ran my car on 1.1mm iridiums at pretty much the same boost used to get a slight miss, which got a bit worse when it got colder i taped up the coil packs so they wouldn't arc, and it seemed to work eventually i just replaced the coil packs with brand new splitfires, worked a treat after that even ran ok pulling ~1bar at 1.1mm, though i'm planning on running more with my new turbo and shit
  12. what is this CSI:SAU? fyi, a car with abs won't leave skidmarks
  13. *DANGER TO MANIFOLD* you'll be lucky if that 50hp shot of nos doesn't blow the welds on the intake
  14. thanks paul
  15. it all depends on offset <--- my wheels are 17x9 with 235 rubber all round they fit just perfect with i believe a +35 offset (might be +38)
  16. this is a good read got a gcg hi-flow rb25 turbo going on my r32 now other mods include 550cc injectors and powerfc and the usual kinda shit i'll watch this thread and post results when/if i get them
  17. more than you can afford pal
  18. hi spook
  19. i like the chick driving
  20. forget lift unless you have solid lifters
  21. You don't need a thermostat. My r32 oil temp gets up to 180 degrees farenheit (autometer oil temp gauge) pretty quick. The cooler is right behind the front bar so gets lots of air. Only time it had any trouble is driving on the highway though crazy heavy rain at night. Oil temps didn't get above 150. Just run a cover over it if you are worried.
  22. The fact is you never mentioned the damage to the compressor wheel, which had i known about, i wouldn't have bought the turbo. Or atleast not for that price. Its useless to me without a rebuild, which was not my intention in buying the turbo. And to say you didn't know it was damaged is a cop out, because anyone checking the shaft play would see as clear as day the damaged blades. All i'm asking for is a reasonable partial discount for the fact that i can't use this turbo without rebuilding it.
  23. Don't buy anything of value off this guy. I bought the r33 turbo which he said "Very Minamal shaft play, has about 60'000kms on it and only boosted to 10psi, in good condition and also comes with elbow ( has 45V2 on comp cover )" about. Apparently a shattered compressor wheel and a significant amount of front-back play is good condition. I asked him to give me a partial refund and hes ignored my PMs. Just an FYI.
  24. i went through 25litres of fuel around QR at the trackday on august 30 70km on the odometer (including the drive there) 5 sessions of 5 laps went from above 1/2 to mid E line
  25. interested in the turbo + elbow want it for my rb20 i've popped you a pm
