  1. So as the title says my R32 is throwing oil everywhere. I'll start with the pictures: (yes thats a copper roof gutter pipe ) Sorry about the small photos. So until a few days ago it simply had a air filter style little breather ontop of the rocker breather where you see the blue pipe is temporarily attached, on my drive home (bought the car a few days ago) i noticed it was throwing oil absolutely everywhere, to the point where i finally cleaned it all out and syringed half a litre of oil from the coil pack galleries...and thats just a third of the splatter radius. I have since set up this *temporary* catch can system which has helped a little. After 3-4 2nd to 3rd pulls the catch can is full and oil has shot out of the can everywhere (400ml can). now i wouldn't be to concerned if it did this if there was to much oil, but its half full and still continues to throw oil everywhere to the point where im concerned its going to end up starving. Any idea if this is a typical RB occurrence (my first RB) or if ive got a problem on my hands. I was going to buy a proper catch can and just use the drain to plumb back into the sump but if its more than just a "typical RB occurrence" then i best not ignore it. Sorry if this is a stupid question or if its previously been covered, admin feel free to remove if so.
