  1. Thanks anyways, sorry man i mean the light sensor for front doors.... i just had a look at them, they are on the body of car near where the pillar starts to come up for seat belt..... light rectangle shape rubber mount looking thing with round push in button which makes the light switch on n off when door open n closed... thanks anyways buddy
  2. hey buddy what coilovers are in it and how many k's they done?
  3. rear doors light sensors do you have those? (when you open door it turns the interior light on) weathershields? postage to miranda nsw 2228... cheers buddy
  4. i haven't gone to pedders as of yet.... i been reading into the bilsteins setup rather then coilovers...maybe on the cards in the future i think
  5. yeah get what your saying zoomzoom... i would go tomorrow and buy a set of coilovers if i could believe me and i think if our 2nd child wasn't so close to due date i would... but it sucks the floating when i am driving on my own in car but once there is a little weight from family being car its almost non existent.... and i can't really lower the car at the moment with my wife so close u know
  6. Thanks for the info people much appreciated
  7. Thanks Gho5t 4 the advice. .. heading to prefers after work tomorrow
  8. so the lowering springs made a huge difference? the car is quite high at the moment but thats what i prefer as i use it for work and am in and out of carparks 24/7...
  9. thanks for the info, its had an alignment and is on brand new tyres...not sure of profile size, i will get the dampers and bushes checked out this week.......as for replacement ones if it is the scenario what kind of price range would i be looking at?
  10. hey there, my series 1 stagea is sitting at stock height and has 18inch wheels.... i noticed it has the floating feel when driving, the rear tends to float over bumps and gives the feeling that its following any grooves or bumps or ditches in the road... i had similar thing in the past with my commodore wagon and a hilux but am told its because they are light in the rear end... is there anything i can do to try and sort the issue, i do not want to put coilovers in can't afford and i dont want to lower...
  11. cheers for the info mate, yeah i will definitely stick to just a paper panel filter then, sorry for the questions just i haven't had a turbo in many years and i don't want to go the whole pod or do anything that will deteriorate the engine
  12. Thanks for the input guys.... so filters like Greddy Airinx, d1 spec, blitz lm or k&n wouldn't be worth the price?? there are quite a few options hence why i thought i would ask i opened my airbox today for first time whilst washing the car and noticed its a red paper type filter and it appears to be a ryco styled one.
  13. Hey guys, just posted up regarding BOV plumb back info... i will be sending car for service in the first couple of weeks of january... anyone able to recommend which brands when it comes to filters? i have original air box running, so which is the best performance filter? and which oil would be best? my brother uses motul in his r33 series 1. i live in miranda (sydney) so i am just down from justjap but noticed some of the prices fluctuate to other companies out there so any recommendations would be fantastic. Thanks for any helpful input guys
  14. hey guys i recently bought a series 1 stagea and am absolutely wrapped...loved these cars since i first started seeing these being imported... my car is running stock apart from exhaust... i don't want to rid of the air box and fit a pod as i do not want the attention for defects... i have been looking at plumb back bov's online and spent most of the night reading up on how much people rant and rave about the atmospheric bov's and how against them people are. i just wanted to ask if anyone is running something like the turbosmart kompact plumb back bov.... and if there is any throttle/boost performance change? and if there is any different spool or induction sound. i don't want the super load pssst sound, maybe just a little better spooling sound and response without major mods. i also read about putting in a GTR factory bov... does this make much of a difference performance or sound wise? i haven't had a turbo in nearly 10 years i used to have a r32 gts-t and it had just the plumb back and you got a really nice swoosh sound that wasn't a ridiculously loud cop bait but sounded nice and didn't affect performance... yeah it did have a pod so i think that prob would be the difference. i just noticed the boost isn't seeming to hold properly in 3rd or 4th...so i thought my bov is leaking or on the way out. I know there is a shitload of posts regarding BOV's... but i thought i would ask stagea owners as the stagea although the same motor, its a different car to a typical skyline and i don't want to lose the style the car has by over the top flutters/swooshes. Thanks you guys for any helpful input
