Just saw on the TV, R33 was involved in a hit and run early this morning, then crashed into another car down the street after the driver took off. Driver and passenger were arrested shortly after. White R33 GTST with chromies. Series 1 I think. Car has taken a massive hit to the front passenger side (probably when it ran into the car). The guy hit died. Solved. Traced back to a short in the ECU loom harness. Replaced plugs too and she's apples. Thanks for your help!

Hi Dave, Yep there's power to the injectors, but the pulse is very very weak. Fuel pump turns on, primes, no problems there.

Hi, Have an R33 GTR - mods of note running a PowerFC and bigger injectors. Previously tuned and hasn't missed a beat. Haven't driven car for about a month and the battery died. It was replaced with a new one, and is now cranking and not firing. The following things have been checked out as okay: - crank angle sensor - plugs (not fouled & clean) - fuel supply (pump, lines etc) - spark is good (coilpacks, etc) - AFM (no dry circuits, etc) However threw on a noid and there's no injector pulse. Any reasons why this would happen or what I can do to get it going? Thanks!

If you are upgrading to the 20/25 AFMs, go the RB20 ones as they are straight plug-in on a GTR, whereas the 25 will require you to do some wiring.

Yeah if you are able to swing a club and have some decent power in your shot over the lake is pretty doable... fun too

Is it really 'important' to post your ad in two places? I would have thought if you were worried about duplication the easy way would be to just post one thread. You've already got an (oversized) signature advertising your car for sale, not like it's easy to miss that whenever you post.

Guys my boyfriend picked up a lip for his series II from UAS a while ago. It was fibreglass but had no problems fitting. Just Jap used to make one too, not sure if they still do.

3M Marine polish is quite good on carbon fibre, but you should prep it like any other surface eg wash, clay, etc.

Remove boot lock. Take to locksmith and get a key cut. If you can't take it out yourself call a mobile locksmith.

That doesn't look too good at all. Under SEVS, crash damaged or corroded vehicles where the structural integrity may be affected must be re-exported or destroyed. This includes any rust which has caused "perforation or flaking of the metal." There's no easy way out from a car like this. From what you said it seems like the car is in Japan still? I wouldn't risk bringing in a car like this here, too much risk / hassle. Best option would probably be to sell and get something else.

Alternator will be fine. If you're having issues improve your grounding (eg battery negative to chassis, amp to chassis, etc) Power runs: Either a single run from battery positive to boot, and then use a distributor block (it's like a splitter) to separate into each amp, or you can make separate runs from battery to each amp. Remember to add a fuse within 30cm of the battery however.

It ran perfect with the Power FC. There are hundreds of skylines using the Power FC without any problems. How it runs though depends on the quality of the tune. Power FC will be listed on eBay if not sold within the next few days.

Used, but in excellent condition (as good as an ECU can be ). No Hand Controller, but you can buy one from Nengun, etc..

Gee man.. thats not good Hey mate sorry to hear that Its bad hearing these stories - but it is something that happens unfortunately Heard a few bad stories - one in VIC and the dude even had video evidence from the shopping centre where the car was parked but the police couldn't (or wouldn't) do anything about it... Even the guy's fuel cover panel was keyed... people (even young kids) shouldn't get thrills from damaging other people's ride ah razor - I'm thinking that some skidlines should be left on some door steps cheers
