  1. How worn are your rear tyres? The more my rear nankangs wore down the more the attessa kicked in.
  2. Most people use a 1 piece front/dump on gts-t's as its a simple and cost effective way of going about it. Are you sure the frontpipe you have ordered is not a front/dump combo?
  3. First he buys a Rotary and now a motorbike... Someone ban B-Man from SAU !!!

Where are you located? Do you want a complete working box or a broken box with good internals?
  5. I watched for a couple of hours and it looked like a lot of fun was had. I'll have to try 1 of these days towards the end of the year...
  6. Well it would definitely be 15-20kg that's for sure.
  7. Might be a good idea to tidy up the first post to clealy show what is sold and what is still available.
  8. Then add another 7.5kg for everything in the engine bay (I have it all sitting on the floor in my garage) not to mention it would be way easier to do an oil filter change.
  9. I'll be there (as a spectator).
  10. I know that an X-force r32 gtst-t exhaust does not fit an r32 gtr not even close, it didnt bent in the right spots and the hangers in some cases were on opposite sides. I think that even if you do get it to fit, it wont be an optimal fit (ie hug the floor closely, instead hang low).
  11. ...until a cop says "hey pop your bonnet"
  12. Talk to a mechanic that works mainly on imports and they all recommend it. Talk to a 'gearbox/clutch specialist mechanic' and they tell you it's a not as good as everyone thinks. I had 1 good local specialist mechanic show me the internals of 2 gearboxes that he was working on. The gearbox that had Castrol oil was nice and clean, the redline gearbox looked like someone had filled it with grease, not oil. Each to their own I guess.
  13. That's the same setup I had along with a 600bhp engine and 1 too many 8000rpm clutch dumps resulted in my flywheel ending up in the crowd. Hold off another month and buy yourself a new flywheel from japan and get them to fit it at the same time, won't cost much more. Sure 99.9% of people use a standard flywheel or even a standard lightened flywheel (like my new gtr has) but this is 1 problem that can be easily avoided. I was still only in the low 12's and it happened so I would use their rules as a guide.
  14. His prices/suppliers might have changed, i'll visit him tomorrow and see what's new.
  15. Oh nice, same as my current tein's. My new gtr with stock suspension appears to handle better than my worked gtr with tein suspension so I want something that handles better than tein but doesn't lose the current stance it has.
  16. Can anyone tell me what the ride height is from center of wheel to the wheel arch for front and back with this kit please?
  17. That's probably HG Motorsport on the corner of High St and Woodriff St at the set of lights opposite the park. I haven't been in there for atleast 2.5yrs simply because when I did go in there he was double the price of Nengun on basically everything except gauges. I might drop back in this week and see if he has come back to reality.
  18. Just because a user on here owns a Skyline doesn't mean they know how to use a spanner or hookup a boost controller. Many of us enjoy the look, sound and way a skyline drives yet don't even change our own oil.
  19. I'll go the other way and say to find yourself a nice respectable mechanic that you trust that doesn't charge the earth and get that 1 guy to do everything. Sure their are some things you can do yourself (basic maintanence) but when you start modifying it's often cheaper to just pay a mechanic to do the job right the first time and never have to worry about it again. You will read many stories about people getting a cheap $200 ecu tune that took them 45mins. Then a month later you will hear them whinging about how their car stalls with the a/c on or they get high knock levels as soon as the weather is warm etc. Pay the $1000 upfront and get the job done properly the first time.
  20. Are they polished or are they just dodgy pics?
  21. Just wondering if the 'passenger fee' is for all age groups or just 18+? My neighbour has a nice 68 camaro and is thinking of attending although has 2 kids under 10yrs old.
  22. That's a wicked engine bay!
  23. I'm quite happy with my results on the day and im sure I won my category, 3 snags and a coke for only $11 ! The good news is that next dyno day i'll be able to participate with a car
  24. money = horsepower horsepower = money That's really all it comes down to.
