  4. Theirs no way i'd get any free tickets through Toll, all our depot gets is the leftover shit the major depots dont want Bring on the '07 season !!
  5. I wonder if the cargo department is big enuff to hold the next SAU trackday?
  6. So you went for the first time, worked out how the whole night runs and made it home with the car in 1 piece... well done! Now go back again (or for the next 6mths if you have to) and practice practice practice.
  7. I've seen atleast 3 sets of DBA4000 slotted rotors cracked, the most recently was at Wakefield Park on a 300zx which was cracked almost entirely through the hub.

Noting that getting a new block is easily ~$8k (block, internals, fitting, tuning).

So in your opinion could the thread on the bottom left (and right) of my block be fixed by an experienced cast iron welder? (replacing the sump is easy but the bottom end will be expensive) engine block
  10. When they stop repeating the 05 season every 2nd day.

Who has done some cast iron welding and wants to fix my block?
  12. If it ain't broke you aren't trying hard enough
  13. The only rotors ive ever seen cracked at trackdays have been DBA's.
  14. I watched the first episode of the Jetta series and found it quite lacking, it's more suited for the 50yo midlife crisis type owner than a 20ish petrolhead. They did a "suspension upgrade" with no real mention of what exactly they did and then the fat dude got in the car and did half a lap with a "yep its way quicker" their was no mention of laptimes etc. Same with the power mods they have done, no initial dyno readouts etc its just a simple "yep it goes faster now".
  15. Yup just buy an N1 crate engine from Justjap, bolt it up and away you go easy power
  16. I dare say 100's of sau users have used Nengun, fantastic prices and a great service.
  17. The only times that should be considered are the times given in the last 5mins of the 2nd session of qualifying at Melbourne next month. Everything up to then is just hogwash.
  18. T04z would be an ideal choice.
  19. Don't spose you wanna split the N1 front side pods? I only need the passenger side
  20. Without dragging this off topic could someone be kind enough to list every single part (and quantity of each) required for a bottom end RB26. Their are plenty of us that drive these cars but don't know the absolute minute technical jargon and would value this information which im sure would help the OP in his request of info too.
  21. I have 1 with no engine, gearbox or firewall
  22. To ensure the pc's keep running? or to watch the pc's to ensure that the cars keep running?
  23. I got there at 10am, was about 10m from the gate and thought pfft too hot and im not paying $69 to get sunburnt for the 3rd time in '07 so i went home again
  24. What sort of price are you looking to spend?
  25. Just drop in an RB25, a lot less hassle then an RB26 and half the cost whilst still giving plenty of power.
