  1. Damn that would be a killer day to watch live...
  2. Here's the video of the accident that I made after the race: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uB-evTsJjYE
  3. That's about as close as he will get to winning, taking out another winner by rear-ending them!
  4. You wouldn't even need to drop the tyre pressures, I was doing comfortable 1.70sec 60ft times on 255/40/17 bald Nankang tyres that any ute could only dream about (unless it had slicks).
  5. The ute would have no traction until 3rd gear and by then you would already be finished.
  6. yup
  7. Join the club! You can swap the parts over, you just need to find a really cheap broken box and swap the good parts over. Then again it would probably be cheaper and easier to just buy another working gearbox.
  8. says the guy with no clutch pedal...
  9. You are still doing 2.0sec 60ft right? You just need more practice and you will knock off 0.2sec, I dare say it could even just be your rear suspension setup. Then up your boost to 12psi and you will have the other 0.2sec or just buy an ecu or exhaust cam gear to make it abit easier.
  10. He might as well have.... 13's pfft
  11. What does a bottom end typically cost to get built these days? Say I provided 100% of the parts ready to bolt together then drop the head on what sorta $$ would it cost me?
  12. Watched the RH9/CRD crew move this car from the 1st pavillion to 2nd pavillion at the Autosalon on the weekend, just the sound of the idle was enough to make the trip worthwhile.
  13. Go to your local decent exhaust shop and ask them to replace your rear muffler with a Magnaflow oval muffler and a mid oval muffler also. The noise is made by the internal design of your cannon/mufflers. I changed from a jap exhaust to a custom cat-back and the difference in noise was astonishing, no more drone, popping or headaches just a constant quiet RB26.
  14. Well I believe the slots only came in the '93 and '94 model V-Spec's so maybe all 93-94 models have these slots already in the support bar and anything earlier may not..
  15. Here's a pic of my '94 model and it appears to already have the holes in the support bar...
  16. I've spoke to numerous people running 400+ rwkw with standard (prep'd) rods.
  17. By wrapping them around poles or running from the police? I bet Nissan wished that Skylines were never allowed to be imported to tell you the truth!
  18. You will probably find thats your intake temps, not your oil temps. Most GTR's run over 100c on the track and they still go all day so you may have other issues (bad coils even).
  19. Yeah noticed you out there, got an easy 0.5sec in that car.
  20. More like Hiace, Lancer and wannabe's!
  21. Bah who cares... im driving my work van and im leaving at 7:30 coz it will take me an extra 2hrs to get there in the damn thing
  22. Cast iron for sure, I love having my gtr off the road for a year whilst I spend $15k repairing it from a $100 part.
  23. My Jim Berry clutch was so good it was as easy to drive in my 320kw gtr as my budget exedy was in my 185kw r33 gtst. Just don't forget when ur getting a new clutch to spend the extra $500 and get a new flywheel with it
