  1. Well after consulting www.rycofilters.com.au I got the Z145A (pretty much the same filter for all Nissan Imports). It's about 2cm larger in diameter than the nissan filter (#1520853500) and I spent a good 5min trying to get the damn thing on after dropping the oil but I either wasn't lining it up properly (can barely get my hand down there let alone fiddling around with a filter as well) or it was rubbing up against something beside it (driverside).
  2. What replacement filters do you guys use? Mine had a genuine jap nissan filter on it, bought a ryco replacement only to find its much bigger and literally cannot fit down there (something driverside of the filter location is too close). I have a relocator kit but didn't have the patients or time to try and get it fitted, it's hard enough just fit/removing the filter where it is let alone trying to get a relo kit down there (which wont be long enough anyway).
  3. Are you 4 or 5 star?
  4. I'm still your bitch of the week though right?
  5. I just got back from having the front windscreen replaced in my work hiace van. Had a couple of tiny tiny tiny stone chips at either end of the window and then afew months back the council had to re-tar a 1ft wide section of a road I go along on the way to my work depot each morning. the section that had the new tar was about 2 inches higher than the road and their was no choice but to hit it doing about 60km/h. So 2 of the stone chips resulted in 2x 30cm cracks in the screen Since then the council came back and scraped it back so it's level with the rest of the road, idiots! Luckily it was a free insurance job.
  6. Not only does Paul let you up the inside of turn 1 but then he has to brake on the exit because you slow him up geeze
  7. Well the week before you did a 12.5sec @ 114mph so I think 12.6sec @ 105mph is more impressive...
  8. Majority of that isn't caused by daily driving, it's purely you modifying the car. An ex-coworker of mine (forum member but not a regular) has a very nice totally stock S2 R33 GTS-t that is a daily driver. The only mods are a K&N panel filter, tints and a stereo. It drives superb and hasn't missed a beat in 3yrs of ownership. A GTS-t would be a much easier daily driver compared to a GTR but it certainly can be done depending on where you work and what you do for work.
  9. I deal with boxes! Some are very small, others quite big, they come in all shapes and sizes some are even bound and strapped. I've even get the odd box with a hole in it or that has been squashed, but heck people are desperate for boxes and I have plenty of boxes (usually about 85 a day, thats a lot of boxes). It's easy to tell when a box has been looked after because the previous owner has kept it in good shape and provided plenty of reinforcement. The most annoying thing is when someone thinks I have their box when i've never even seen it before. I usually take extra special care of those boxes when I do eventually get them because I know how valuable people's boxes are. My only forms of payment is a signature and a surname, no other payment is required or accepted In short, I work for Toll Ipec.
  10. Don't forget to update
  11. I'd rather see Webber go out of the race on the first corner from actually having a go (at either holding his grid position or trying to grab another spot or 2) than playing it extremely safe in the first corner and then waiting for the cars infront to pit to actually move up a spot. He reminds me of Glen Seton. Always in the race, always getting a point or 2, but never ever anything spectacular... just making up numbers.
  12. Twin exhaust pipes = double the engine smoke
  13. You were getting off the line pretty damn good on the GWH on your way home.... (I was in the loud white R32 GTR).
  14. Mona did a 12.6sec @ 105mph which was impressive.
  15. Provided the weather holds out im there to spectate. The roads are 90% dry in penrith and the sun is trying to break through the clouds but their are still occassional very light showers. All eyes on www.wsid.com.au at 3-4pm
  16. Webber is only a 5-10th place driver, that's all he is good for. He has the talent to hold that position but doesn't have the talent of say Alonso or Kimi to go and hunt down the cars ahead and actually make a go of it. In the 2005 season Webber averaged 7th place every race (36pts) and Alonso averaged 2nd place every race. I can see Rosberg actually beating Webber in the Championship. Webber will have consistent 5-10th places, where as Rosberg will have afew 3-5ths and just as many out of the points finishes.
  17. I think my gstrings will be in the wash that day.....
  18. Some people are still waiting for theirs to arrive
  19. Not a bad first race of the '06 season. Good to see Schue back up the top, I thought he had it in the bag until that last pitstop. It appears Webber is up to his usual stuff, spend the entire race chasing back the coupla guys that get past him in the first corner rather than actually progressing anywhere up the order. I actually had abit of trouble picking out some of the cars (Williams vs Sauber etc) and was getting confused who was who. I will have some short divx's clips uploaded soon.
  20. Not really relevant as the power figures were all over the place, I think it was around 260-280rwkw though.
  21. nice rims!
  22. or 2 million if you take a 2nd set of tyres + clutch
  23. ...lend your car to a 10sec driver and see what they can do with your 13sec gtr
  24. 2005 = 1:31.447 (race) 2006 = 1:31.431 (qualifying)
  25. Time to clear some hdd space and fire up the HDTV pci card
