    It's Done>>>>>>

1.66sec and 138mph means you might be abit slower mid-track than beginning or end track.
  2. No plans at this stage, could be a go-er!

PPG Dog Box, mmm yes please
  4. Paul (DirtGarage) has done a 10.3 @ 133mph on 2530's so that shows that their is probably still a few tenths in it for Justin (xrated) with that mph.
  5. ditch the slimline and buy an Xbox360

  10. Sometimes you just have to go that extra mile...
  11. The key to no droning and low noise level is the biggest muffler you can possibly fit under the car.
  12. Check your cat to make sure it is in good working order (ie not gutted or dead) as you may just need to replace this (~$350).
  13. From abuse, ie lots of heavy braking, lots of heat, general wear and tear (10-15yo cars).
  14. Well I visited Phil this arvo and he certainly knows what he is on about. Took a whole 5mins to diagnose my problem (leaking hose) so he just regassed it to get me by until I can get the car back to him for an entire to have it fixed/serviced. When I arrived the AC was set to 18.0c but was actually blowing 27c air and when I left it was blowing 5.1c air, friggin freezing (but its leaking so its quickly getting warmer again). Bl4cK32 - Phil can rebuild the compressors, I asked him today for you. He said to definitely give him a call so that he can grab some more details.
  15. www.nismo.com.au has some similar styled bonnets.
  16. I owned a 1995 R33 GTS-t for 2.5yrs, 5wks ago I bought a 1994 R32 GTR. From my personal opinion the GTS-t is absolutely no match compared to the GTR in any way (driving, looks, performance etc). The R33 GTS-t is certainly the weekend cruise car, nice comfortable soft ride, enough room for 4 blokes, decent power options, etc. The GTR is more the weekend trackday warrior. Power is easily obtained, the handling is 100x better and it looks 100x better too. As for costs (GTS-t vs GTR) i'm still of the opinion that they are basically identical in general running costs. It's not until you starting blowing engines or gearboxes where the costs would be more for the GTR, but then again a rebuild of an engine/gearbox is a rebuild and it costs money no matter what type of car you have. I've created a thread with a 'my running costs experience' thread which you can view here: here My advice would be to spend as much as you can on the purchase of the vehicle as generally it will be a better quality car. Something in the high 20's for an R32 and high 30's for an R33 should be ok.
  17. Bah give him a ring yourself, it'll cost you like $2 which is money well spent
  18. I say groupbuy on SK doing the work for us (at a price of course) on a weekend sometime
  19. I had the A/C in my R32 GTR looked at on tuesday by a local mob. They hooked up the gas rig to re-gas it and told me all the pressures and everything was perfect. They regassed it anyway (for free) and their was no difference and then told me it was because my FMIC was blocking airflow to the A/C compressor. Anyone else had this problem or do I just need to visit a better workshop (ie the mob in this Groupbuy) ? Edit: Well Phil just told me more about my A/C problems on the phone in 5mins then 3 local workshops did in 3hrs (my last tuesday afternoon) so i'm booked in tomorrow to get some work done
  20. Damn appears to be around 80 cars.... you'll find me 5km behind avoiding all the accidents
  21. Where can I find n00b info on this WinHIIP 7.1 setup? I have a Slimline PS2 with only 1 game
  22. I've only done 3 trackdays.... unfortunately i've been a spectator at every other day
  23. I think i'd be too afraid to turn the engine on let alone drive around.... damn thats clean!
  24. Maybe an easier option would be a list/thread of tools that people are happy to lend out whether other users rent it from that person or leave a deposit or something. Much cheaper than actually buying all the gear and hence having to pay it off.
  25. Open the blade, put the ball forward in your stance and smack a worm burner straight for that boat...
