  1. Loud? Yes Illegal? Yes Sound awesome? Yes
  2. Yup mine too is already the R134a system, think it just needs a regas.
  3. Can anyone find SydneyKid's desired 'settings' for spirited driving. I can't seem to locate them and I too need an alignment/balance.
  4. Give Kevin a call at Specialised Brake & Clutch (GavSport) on Glossop Road, St Marys (next to the hire place near the servo). He's very cluey with the Skylines and if his workshop can't fix it for you he'll put you onto someone reputable in the area. He's done group buys in the past for SAU (clutches and brake gear) so mention you are from Skylines Australia. GavSport: 0296730988

    Summernats

All we need now is someone to report back if the cops are defecting at the entry to Canberra on the Hume Hwy like they were 2yrs ago.
  6. Time to unsubcribe from the thread I think *waves*

    Summernats

I'll be there all day saturday and sunday and possibly at Braddon on the friday nite.
  8. Just visit the back streets of Huntingwood on the way out of WSID if you want to discuss big boobs (at a small *fee* of course).
  9. They can be seized just from heavy use/abuse and heat. Good quality pads, fluid, braided lines and new caliper seals may do the trick.
  10. Motul 4100 and a Ryco filter every 5,000km is all you need to know really
  11. Wrap #3 in electrical tape.
  12. Siezed pistons?
  13. You can ask the guy in the staging lanes out the back before he lines you up and generally will allow it if it's possible.
  14. I used to run mine till the needle hit the top of the 'E'. Obviously it's picking up everything from the bottom of the tank but I figure that's what a fuel filter is for (when changed often). I did it for 2yrs and never had a problem (didn't get any fuel surge either). In my GTR i'm definitely keeping it above 1/4 at all times.
  15. Summernats is next weekend, i'll be there fri-sat-sun. Count me in for this bbq cruise!
  16. Nah the tanks are up around 67L.
  17. A GTS-t seat compared to a GTR seat is like sitting on a 10yo wooden park bench. Their is no comparison....
  18. If you are that worried about it just swap your pod back to the factory airbox. I swapped my HKS Pod filter for a factory airbox with K&N Panel filter and couldn't notice any change at all (and neither could a dyno). The other good thing about a factory box is that it's perfectly legal unlike an open pod filter.
  19. Randy: - Your car is stock so it naturally running very rich. - You easily have another 10L of fuel that could be used so theirs another 100km minimum (i'd consistently use 60-63L per fill up when I had my R33 GTS-t).
  20. That was a nice 245km drive (and I only used 1/3 tank). Good to see we didn't have any issues with cops despite the amount that were about.
  21. If you hunt around abit you can actually get a brake stopper that is part of your strut brace. I remember having a Cusco strut brace that had the master cylinder brace built into the bracket of that so it was all a neat fit with no extra holes required (from memory).
  22. You told them Thornleigh and not Cronulla right?
  23. The cops are fine if you park in the actual KK parking lot. If you park in the Maccas or surrounding parking areas they can be abit suspect. The Aqua Golf parking they never ever go to unless Panthers Security calls them to that area.
  24. Geeze I go and watch a DVD, come back and someone has added 200km to the cruise I'm sure i'll still be there, it's either that or watching tv again!
  25. An easy way to find if the coils are your problem is to replace them with some out of a mates car (make sure same model car and engine). A harder way is to individually take 1 coil out, wrap it in electrical tape, put it back in and take the car for a drive. Keep doing it until the car is driving perfect again and then you'll know exactly which coil(s) are faulty. If you know how to change your sparkplugs you know how to change the coils. All you have to do is take the center cover off, disconnect the wiring loom from each coil, remove the 2 bolts holding each coil in and swap it with the new coil. It's about a 20-30min job in total to do everything.
