  1. Penrith KK is good, means I only have to travel 3km Also it'd be cool to play a game of aqua golf (500m from KK) with a group of people ($6.50 a bucket of about 50 golf balls) certainly a good 45-60mins of entertainment and their is -heaps- of good parking.
  2. You will certainly need to find a private, under-cover carpark of some sort.
  3. I think that's the main reason why I get good economy in my GTR. The boost doesn't really kick in until over 4,000rpm and on the motorways im only doing 3000rpm so i'm driving on vacuum.
  4. I was at Krispy Kreme last nite and seen 2 car loads of cops, then 30min later I was at a Kebab shop about 1km around the corner and... another 2 car loads of cops They have their priorities right!
  5. Geeze... Xmas twice in a year, how bout that !
  6. Autobarn has a 'drift' brand for $199 and nengun.com has the Apexi unit for $150.
  7. Get the Meguiars Clay, that stuff is awesome! funkeymonkey: If that was my frontbar, i'd be pulling it off and buying a new 1 before even trying to clean it haha, would take days to clean that!
  8. Just make sure your battery is charging properly otherwise you'll be sitting in the lanes out in the pits idling for an hour again like last time
  9. No I sold the plates with my GTS-t and just have the ABC12DE black on white type plates on the GTR (not changing them anytime soon either). I'm in a white GTR with Enkei wheels, you should hear me coming from atleast 3 suburbs away Mark: I'd be very happy with a 12.75sec on my first nite out in the new car!
  10. www.nengun.com sell brand new Splitfire Ignition coils for $583 delivered. The model number is: SF-DIS-008 The glue will work for a week or 2, it's easier just to cough up the money and be done with it. Been there, done that!
  11. My current and last Skyline both had master cylinder braces and both had ABS, i'm yet to run into any problems.
  12. On Monday of this week I did: 400km highway driving (100-110km/h) 75km country driving (80-100km/h) 75km of very hard driving (showing my cousins the new toy) I still had 1/4 tank left, so I could have easily got another 80-100km out of it totalling 650km all up. I'm very happy with the economy of my gtr (but then you'd expect that with a $1200 tune).
  13. Depending on how hot it is im still 50/50 spectating vs racing.
  14. Mmm i'd love to smash a box, tight 1 preferrably!
  15. Until you tell them (or they realise) that you require a 4ws wheel alignment which costs extra.
  16. All he needs to do is pump the rear guards and add another diff
  17. Just rained anyway so they prob would have called it...
  18. Chevron Island?
  19. That's the 'overflow' bottle, you should have that about 1/3rd full (usually a mark on it).
  20. I have the same problem with my R32 GTR. HKS Dump/fronts 3" cat 3" D-Luck cat-back Big Canon 5" Tip It is so loud and drones so much that it's too loud to even sit idling in my driveway or in the main street where I live. On motorways in 5th gear doing 100km/h at 3,000rpm it's incredibly painful to the ears (especially if doing a 400km trip). I got pulled over by the police last nite and its the first thing he mentioned (but let me off coz he loved GTR's). I just had a closer look at the rear canon now and it appears to be a straight through pipe with some sort of mesh as the walls of the pipe. Their is a flange just before the canon so I guess I have 2 options from here: 1) Fit an Apexi (or variant) exhaust control valve for $250 fitted, which would almost guarantee a quieter exhaust but i'd still have to manually play with the valve everytime I drive due to loss of power when the valve is closed up. 2) Try a few different rear canons to try and find a quieter one until I get 1 that quietens it down enough whilst still possibly being above the legal db limit. I have plenty of power (330awkw) so I don't mind losing 10-15kw if it means a quiet legal exhaust but obviously I don't want it to rob me of power and heaps of money either.

  22. Damnit i'm going back to bed.... wake me up in 7 days!
  23. I've found Justcars to be slightly cheaper (maybe 10%) however Shannons offer monthly payments and other benefits at no extra cost.
  24. I've done 1,000km in the past 3 days (all 30-35c days with plenty of humidity) and my oil hasn't gone above 90c (according to the factory oil gauge in my r32 gtr, which being 11yrs old im not sure how accurate it is). That's with air intake temps of 50-55c and water temps of 76-85c. I've certainly done plenty of hard driving (altho only at 11psi) and heaps of freeway driving.
  25. It depends what state you live in as to how much hp you will get out of them (ie; do a search)
