Just had a 20min downpour, nothing too serious. Sposed to be late showers tonight (or very early tomorrow morning) so i think it will be all good (albeit with a green track).
Was a great nite of racing, the best in prob the last 2mths. Had to be atleast 5-8 <10sec cars
So wtf has that black R33 GTS-t got in it? That thing did a super burnout (frying the clutch) and then was on the back of a tilt tray for the remainder of the nite
I can't wait for the F1 season to start again. I think the tyre changes will be great.
As for the qualifying, totally weird! They should just go back to the old 12 lap maximum 1hr session.
Update?
Niel's car had some slight teething issues.
The weather was perfect for spectating.
The pits/track was absolutely packed with Historic Touring Cars all guzzling about 20L of fuel a lap
When their weren't any cars on the track all I could hear was the drag cars at WSID ripping it up
I met 1 of the Lebanese A1GP drivers and had a snack with him (that guy has way too many HSBC credit cards )
The track would have been very average last night. Their hasn't been any racing on the track for about 10-14 days due to bad weather. It's also been about 3-4 days since I last seen the sun so the track temp would have been very low.
The run that you missed 3rd I remember my reaction from the launch (it looked way faster than the other runs) thinking "this has gotta be a low 12 for sure" then you missed 3rd
Their is certainly a 12.0-12.2 in the car, just a matter of time.
Good nite, pity about the weather (not many cars).

4:30pm Weather Update: No rain in the area today, we are racing tonight!
Gates Open 5pm, Racing from 6pm, Burnouts 9pm.
With 275/35 x 18 I wouldn't bother so much about tyre pressures. Maybe drop them to 28-30psi.
You will drop your time more by snapping your gear changes faster
Edit: You will find me at the hotdog stand
Just noticed my homepage is completely empty, no doubt my ISP deleted all the files because I used 63.4mb of 60mb
If anybody still needs these files lemme know.
I had the pleasure of being a passenger in it for 1.5hrs the other night and I must say that it drives very well. It has better response/power under 3000rpm than my R33 GTS-t did with the stock turbo B)
Ok click away:
(I've created them a different way to try and reduce the download size so lemme know if any problems)

Apart from F1 Rnds 5+6+7 they were all recorded on my Digital-TV PCI Tuner card. The adverts were cut out and then I shrunk (around 20% compression) it to 1 DVD (apart from Bathurst obviously which is 4 DVD's).
