  1. Yup, Dvico Fusion Plus DVB-T PCI HDTV. Each recording is around 9gb. Remove the adverts and its down to around 6.5gb, use dvdshrink and it fits perfectly on a 4.5gb dvd-r at around 70-75% compression (Sandown I split over 2x DVD-R and no doubt Bathurst 1000 will be about 5 DVD-R's ) with awesome playback quality. If Ch 7/10 made full length, full season DVD's available of each race, every round for every year i'd happily purchase them, until they do i'll happily do this
  2. I got em all on DVD Mr Baron!
  3. I'm quite disappointed that my Toyota Hiace was not in the magazine... I mean c'mon, someone had to get the onions
  4. Might be a silly question Duncan but how does your standard-ish GTR compare with your old standard-ish GTS-t on the circuit?
  5. Here are some clips: Fisichella Accident Montoya Accident Schumacher Accident anybody want anything else in particular?
  6. The highest im still yet to pay is $1.299 but that's only ULP not premium. I seem to have missed the !.30's .... so far!
  7. I heard a bloke on the radio last night has fitted his truck fleet with 1000 litre tanks so that his drivers can fill up with diesel in QLD (where it's 10-20c/L cheaper) and not have to fill up again until they reach Melb where once again it's cheaper than NSW. Damn it must take like 15-20mins just to fill up those tanks at the servo
  8. ..and here I am dieing to get myself a Skyline again meanwhile i'm watching the petrol prices go up and up on a weekly basis but damn im keen to get back into 1 still. My work fuel bill is around $180/wk at present and the truck driver I work with is around $500/wk. Payrise? yes please !
  9. Echinacea I find will beat any cold in 24-36hrs.
  10. Hire a woman, then all you will feel is.... nevermind!
  11. It's a 2WD dyno. Seeing as tho its only about a 3km drive from me i'll be there to spectate.
  12. That's the best way to learn. I've been to easily 80-90% of all events held at WSID and seen a zillions runs and i'm still amazed at how quick some drivers/cars go with minimal power/mods. You would be quite suprised how many drivers I meet in the staging lanes out in the pits whom are totally stoked at their ET's only to tell them that they could easily do another 0.3-0.5sec quicker just with a few adjustments and/or more experience without any modifications.

  14. Although your tyres may be garbage just remember that from memory we just had the dryest winter on record and wnow with a light shower of rain the roads would be incredibly greasy.
  15. www.nengun.com will show you which model coils are required for what model engine.
  16. What are your 60ft times like ?
  17. pics don't work ?
  18. Hopefully this will be better than the poor ass events they run on a fri nite.
  19. K&N Panel filter in the factory airbox. Full 3" Exhaust (including front/dump/cat pipes) Apexi PowerFC You can/should do those to start with and you won't even need to lay a hand on your motor. Expect those to increase power by around 30% to begin with. Absolutely no point in modifying anything inside your engine if you don't have a larger turbo to bolt on as well (and it sounds like you are far from that) and even with a larger turbo you most likely won't need to modify anything at all inside the engine.
  20. Sounds like the series is hotting up, when will it be back at Oran Park & Eastern Creek? I bet the sponsors are knocking on Duncan's door after these last 2 race meetings...
  21. Yeah i'd be suggesting the coil packs too. You could try taping them up (1 at a time) with black electrical tape to also try and find the culprit.
  22. Just borrow/buy a 2nd hand factory ecu and use that until you have the funds to get an Apexi PowerFC or re-tune your current ecu.
  23. I'd be happy with $400 fitted (especially if they come to your house).
