Personally I wouldn't even bother with importing an R32/R33 GTS-t as their are soooo many available here right now it's not funny. You can inspect and drive each and everyone of them that are privately and commerically for sale here as opposed to looking at a dozen pictures on a website. Even for myself (looking at purchasing an R32/R33 GTR before Xmas) their is no point in looking to import 1 (especially for such an old car like the R32 GTR). I'd rather pay afew thousand extra to have the ability to inspect/drive rather than save afew thousand because I spent 2mths importing via a website.

Maybe if you set a date then people will be able to work out if they are interested or not...

If you are talking about the 1 where their was rain, snow and sunshine all within 1 lap of the track and we had a bbq at a park then yes I went. Was a great cruise.

Those RWD over 2400cc times look quite high to me, 11.2sec nets you 10th place. Adrian isn't too far off that and he has an unopened engine running a standard engine.... what is everyone else doing with their money???

I dare say it but the slot car has high 9's written all over it. I seen all 4 runs and every single gear was just massive wheel spin. The best launched gave the 10.7sec pass and even that was all over the place! Bad decision to go racing last night though (or for atleast the next month) as the track was re-surfaced about 10 days ago and it appears to be like driving on ice. Even the professional teams at last sunday's 'Bracket Attack' were complaining how useless the track was (and many drivers were shutting off after 2nd gear). Not sure why John was using grooved drag tyres though rather than full slicks?

What fixed my problem (exact same as you) was cutting the wire that goes from the fuel pump to ECU (foot on brake ecu tells the fuel pump to not pump as much, it chokes and stalls).

... or think that the water/burnout area is actually the starting line, do a burnout and continue straight past the starting tree, across the line and then not realise their is a hairpin at the end of the track and beach your car in the sand (as 2 cars did last week).

I always sit/stand at the top of the hill near the private grandstand on the last corner so not far from you. Usually with 5-10 laps to go of the last V8 race i'll walk around towards the esses just before the last corner and watch from there. I've been caught in that carpark too many times (often taking 1-2hrs to get out). Those little Aussie Racing Cars are unreal. I'd so love to buy/drive 1 of those but they are bloody expensive ($40k) for what you get and apparently the waiting list is huge (with some 2nd hand cars being worth more than the brand new price).

Yup $45 was very rich for a round at Oran Park however seeing as though you can see most of the track from the 1 spot, along with 3 massive big TV's (semi trailers) and also the fact that the V8SC series is only at EC+OP twice a year I just have to go, been going too many years not to go For a moment today in 1 of the races I thought I was watching the F1, they were all just following each other with no overtaking. Mark Skaife was pretty much the only entertainment for the entire day Plenty of promo girls around today, the 2 FoxSports and 2 Donut King promo women left nothing to the imagination. The "DeWalt tough man challenge" was there once again (just like at EC) and caught many people out. It's always funny to see a guy that looks like he lives at the gym 7 days a week lose to just a regular guy with a VB in 1 hand and circular saw in the other. Weather was tops !

Uh? The VL's I see/hear at the drags are incredibly quiet, so quiet sometimes that the only way you can tell the engine is on is that their is heaps of smoke coming from the back tyres or from the blowoff valve.

I agree. I have mates that ask me how I can blow/lose so much money on cars (or personal loans) yet an average weekend for them is atleast $250 just in smokes/drugs/alcohol/going out where as I might be lucky to spend $50 tops.

Who drives the R32 GTR, sillver, aftermarket wheels, exhaust etc and is always wearing a yellow high visibility shirt/jacket along the GWH? I see him daily usually through the Hazelbrook->Blackheath area....

I'd actually like to see categories in the 'For Sale: whole cars' section which are "GTS-t", "GTR", "Other". Not to mention removal of all cars/items that have actually been sold so that when I do searches it doesn't display cars that were sold 3yrs ago.

That site is just depressing
