Probably the highest amount of GTR's i've ever seen on a track at once and also probably the highest failure rate i've ever seen at a trackday.
Top day John!
Gee ur making me think hard now (new owner has had it for about 3mths).
R33 GTS-t, 198rwkw, 3" full nismo exhaust (pretty quiet compared to most GTS-t's), std turbo, std ecu, fmic, k&n, ex cam gear.
The only time I found my 040 noisier than the std pump is when I turned the ignition on (and its priming). Once the car was on/idling or I was driving I could not tell any difference.
No point 'upgrading' to a GTR fuel pump which is generally just as old. Might as well spend the same or a little extra and get a brand new bosch.
In my old GTS-t I had a brand new Bosch 040 supplied/fitted for $350 and that was 18mths ago.
Liber8: As Lwells has mentioned above. Sure you might be able to do many things at home by yourself on a weekend but an "Import Mechanic" can get the entire thing checked over with things you may not notice along with doing all that 'upfront' dirty work.
Whats the quality of the Minto Karts/track like though?
I did an SAU Corporate day about 18mths ago and the day was very good. From memory it was 3 heat runs and a final grand prix all with decent karts and the timing system.
Possible interest here.
Any modifications?
Some more pics would be nice.
ie; rather than trying to get the entire engine bay in 1 pic, grab 3 or 4 pics from different angles, same with interior etc.
Saves a heap of mucking around for potential buyers like myself.
Wtf, you guys must be looking at her in the dark or something...
I'd hit that from every angle!!
What, y'all think i've been to 98% of the Wed nite drags since it opened just to see the cars? Pfft!!
Heeeeere puppy puppy
