  2. final qualifying is happening right now.
  3. What time does the event start/finish. Stuffed if I can find any info on it..
  4. Perth seems to get very interesting results which many people from the Eastern Coast of Aust find hard to believe (ie standard injectors etc).
  5. Woah! Someone pickup my bottom jaw, it's stuck on the floor
  6. S1 and S2 GTS-t's are different, im confident that GTR's are different again.
  7. I've spoken to import companies and i know of people that have bought locally for these prices (and less).
  8. If you are going to live off 4c/L coupons start looking for a different car, petrol is only going to go up n up.
  9. On my old car I had a custom 3inch front/dump/cat with a 3inch Nismo cat-back and a 4inch nismo tip. I had my exhaust tested probably 10x in the 2.5yrs I had the car and never had an issue.* K&N Panel Filter * Turbo-back 3" Exhaust * Bleed valve @ 10psi * FMIC * PowerFC Cya in $5k's time.
  10. I agree with Rukus. GTS-T0Y: I just sold my S1.5 R33 GTS-t my best advice is take someone with you that knows Skylines. Not knows them as in knows the visual difference between an R32 and R33 but someone that has either previously owned or currently owns the car you are looking at. Way too many people get caught up in the "omg im buying a skyline" and forget to do the simple things.
  11. For very average-to-poor condition try $18k vs $29k. Or for very good condition try $30k vs $40k.
  12. What did the toast end up going for? Last I seen it was about $1,300. How big is the signed skaifey pic?
  13. It's a damn neat car too, had the pleasure of seeing it upclose about 4-5wks ago at WSID. Not a single thing out of place...
  14. Certainly an interesting topic #1 is definitely the trick.
  15. It's the GTR badge you have on your GTT, makes a huge difference
  16. Well i'm not going 'backwards' with my next car so it won't be long now GTR. . . bring it on !
  17. Have you got any of the Alfa race car?
  18. Yeah i've been talking P/FC's and AVC-R's for the last 6mths. Everytime I go to purchase new parts someone would call me with an offer so i'd put my money back in my pocket. Then it'd go quiet for a month so i'd be right i'll keep it and get a PowerFC, then another phonecall Well the best piece of advice I can give is accept your first genuine offer. I spent/wasted 10mths trying to sell this for "the right price" meanwhile the value was dropping quicker than the offers. In the end I think I did the smart thing, weighing up the past and future costs and basically 'got rid of it'. If I'd accepted any of my first 3 offers I would have been laughing compared to my end sale price (err giveaway price). * 10mths with a sticker on my back window (about 15-20 calls, just enquiries nobody arranged to look at it). * 2wks in the Tradingpost (2 calls, neither looked at it). * About 4-5mths on Carsales.com.au (about 10 calls and about 3 people looked at it) * SAU Forums for 10mths, about 5 calls, 1 looked at it. Without a doubt Carsales is the way to go (The SAU Forums are good because it's free but buyers are alot more pedantic). I've bought my last 3 vehicles from carsales (and sold 2 of those the 3rd I still have). Anyway ima wait until the financial year is over, see how my tax goes (first year as a 'sole trader') and then go from there... If anybody pulls up at a set of lights next to a Hiace van with an SAU sticker on it, give us a wave
  19. That's a great result, nothing like a car that you can take to the track with minimal effort. I liked the variation in cars, everything from datto 1600's thru to vr commodores it was interesting to watch especially all the cars that visited the sand trap at turn 1 Keep us posted on the following events (im likely to forget unless someone reminds me) and i'll be out to spectate again.
  20. Exactly which is why at the end I said "if i have the chance to do it again I will, gimme 4-6mths".
  21. As a person that just sold their Skyline let me give you this piece of advice. "pretty stock" Tint the windows, put a decent set of 18's on it, fit a nice stereo and drive the tits off it for the next 5yrs. Don't worry about mods, power, etc etc. I lost around $25k in 2.5yrs on my Skyline and it was still fairly stock but heck if I had the chance to do it all over again I would. Actually gimme about 4-6mths
  22. Do you think they do Toyota Hiace conversions too? I mean I finish work at about 11am anyway but another 1/2hr less each day would be nice
  23. Gone sold goodbye thanks for coming. *cries*
