  1. Q: I've got a JVC MP3 Player in my car (atleast 3yrs old, was about $1,600 when put in by previous owneer). About 2mths ago things didn't sound right so I took it to a local mob and they said it was having grounding issues. They said a bodge job was done just to 'get me back on the road' but said when that bodge job stops then a new unit is required (internally broken). Is it possible to get these repaired just like with a tv/vcr etc or are they non-repairable? It does everything I need and I'd rather get it fixed (if cheaper) than buying a new unit.
  2. Justin; You wont get much more (if any) but it will be smoother with more torque.
  3. Ch10 FoxSports 1+2 when I remember (Nascar altho wish I had ESPN for the NHRA and other motorsports). I havent watched Ch2 or SBS in years....
  4. $598 + 25% = $748 Still worth the risk when you are saving a good $200+
  5. Qualifying isn't really Webbers weak point, its his racing. He does enough to hold onto a points scoring position but then makes 2-3 silly mistakes every race that loses him those 5 positions that take it from a 1-2 point scramble to 'just another finish'.
  6. I don't take mine off when changing my plugs.
  7. Direct replacement. Easier than changing your sparkplugs
  8. What gets me is the price of some of these 89's being sold for. People wanting $27-30k for an 89 is just silly in most cases, especially when their are quite a few 92-93-94's that have been in the country for a number of years, all the bugs ironed out for the same price. I don't think i'd ever pay more than $20k for an 89 unless it was in mint condition not a scratch/fault/missing part. Even then i'd have a long hard think about it simply because of it being 15yrs old, hell I cringe at the thought my my '95 R33 GTS-t is 10yrs old already and wanting something 'newer'.
  9. I like/use the K&N Panel Filter in the original airbox. No loss of power, no annoying induction sounds like a pod and best of all its totally legal.

Maybe you were drunk last night and went through deleting heaps of posts?
  12. Have it shipped in a container and nothing will go missing
  13. I wouldn't bother importing an R32/R33 GTS-t. Their are soooo many available locally that will provide you with some good bargains and also some 'serious' power GTS-t's.
  14. I just went to my local Exhaust shop (proper guy, not a Midas etc) and said "I want a 3" front/dump/cat". The next day a custom front/dump (1 piece) and custom 3" Cat was fitted. It gave me around 13-15hp and drove so much better. An Exhaust Cam Gear (about $170 delivered from Japan) will give you another 13-15hp and their you have your 250hp with no aftermarket management at all for just another $1,000 total.
  15. Whats the Powerplay prices of those above parts?
  16. If only 1 of these import shops (Prestige, J-Spec, etc) would import 100 of them and throw them on display so I could go and pick the best 1. They would sell them by the bucketloads if they could do that.
  17. I shopped around for a month or 2 in Australia (~$1,000) before eventually buying from Nengun (~$615). I swear most australian shops would be better off just buying small quantities from Nengun (even with import taxes etc he is still cheaper than aussie shops). It's just like a local HJC Motorsport shop was trying to sell me a PowerFC + H/C for $2,200 (Nengun wanted ~$1,200 delivered, now about $1,000 delivered). I nearly fell over backwards! He told me his wholesale price (aussie distributor) was about $1,900. Then I showed him the Nengun/Greenline websites on his PC and he nearly fell over The funny this is, the people that aren't aware of the Japanese shops would happily pay the aussie prices and not think anything of it.
  18. Sounds like your rear end is abit abnormal moanie ! Nengun.com Nismo GT LSD 1.5way Nismo GT LSD Pro 1.5way Nismo GT LSD TT Pro 1.5way All the same price, $1,162 ($1,500 delivered). Obviously would want to find 1 locally
