  1. http://www.etracingfuels.com/ They have some before/after dyno runs etc.
  2. Personally i'd suggest doing afew wed nite street meets before going to a proper weekend meeting. Just incase something goes slightly wrong on its first outing and you drop oil all over the track ruining it for the big dollar professional guys. But then again, you said you've done 30 runs so you're not exactly a first timer. The amount of nimwits at the last few proper drag meetings that have absolutely no fricken idea how to stage is just insane. I seen 2 guys stage last nite (street meet) with their front wheels inline with the tree and they kept moving forward coz the lights weren't coming on haha obviously they went straight to the track without even spectating once or twice. Anyway back on topic, I think a 12 would certainly be on the cards. But then again with the power you (and myself) have we should already be into the low-mid 13's so you would think a mid-high 12 would be on the cards with 220-240rwkw. The other thing is the more power you have the easier it would be to make a mistake and the higher chance of having problems with launches etc. Seeya at the track
  3. Just wanted to confirm this has the plug suitable for an RB25DET ?
  4. hey thats alright, looks stock/stealthy too
  5. Michelin Preceda 225/50/16. I was talking to a mate last saturday night and from memory he has 255's and says he has no issues frying those either (with a fair bit less power too). Maybe my engine is forgetting to produce (nm) and only producing (kw)
  6. does it come with a gauge?
  7. Geeze and I thought my 90cents/minute (5hrs) for todays work was good I wonder if their is a "Cliff Notes: Guide to being a PowerFC tuner in 24hrs" book... ?
  8. Motul 4100 Turbo Light (Skyline) + 4100 Power (Hiace Van) for $45ea at Specialised Brake & Clutch St Marys (Western Sydney). I used to get them from AutoBarn but my local AutoBarn only orders Motul Oils every few months and I always seem to miss out on them or don't need them when they do have them. Filters I just use Valvoline or Ryco, depends where I am at the time.
  9. Info on the P/FC. How old is it? What model is it? What model car is it for?
  10. I'm interested to see the before/after power
  11. Throw on an exhaust cam gear before you do the powerfc. It tidied up my power curve nicely and for only about $250 fitted/tuned
  12. If it was me personally id have it set at 10psi all day everyday and then the option to bump it up to 12psi for drags etc (ie; short periods of time).
  13. 1x Spectator Anyone got a use for some 14" 185's ?
  14. I wish my rear tyres would lose grip so I could learn some oversteer manouvers Even after 3 trackdays (~150+ laps), 30 drag runs and 40,000km on the road I still get no oversteer (the car is more likely to push than anything - on the track). SK: I'm sure you have mentioned it somewhere but I have no idea which thread, what are correct spring/damper rates etc for a stockish (power) R33 GTS-t for circuit/drag work (50/50) which I know isn't ideal but hell im not out to crack a 10sec pass or 2mins around bathurst.
  15. Does the fuel reg come with the gauge? Can you post pics of it?
  16. Ahh to have a stock skyline and build it up from scratch, so much fun (even though mine isn't exactly highly modified, hell still std ecu+turbo). * K&N Panel Filter * Full Exhaust * FMIC * Ex Cam Gear * Bosch 040 * Fuel Regulator * PowerFC * Clutch Seeya in $6k's time, have fun
  17. ^bump^
  18. It might need abit of rear suspension work when the new gearbox goes in otherwise that rear muffler might get left behind at the lights
  19. True however i'd rather spend money on light wheels, lighter drivetrain components, lighter panels, less fuel, remove aircon, hicas etc etc than rip out the front dashboard with the bloody gauges sitting in the middle looking like the car was just ripped off from parra westfields. Maybe if it was a 10.5sec car trying to break into the 9's, but hell if its still mucking around in the 14's effort could be put elsewhere...
  20. u.g.l.y I'd rather keep the dash and center console and keep the 10-20kg
  21. Yup most of these things will get you by for afew days/weeks until you get some decent heat into it again and then it's just time to order the Splitfires
  22. I did the same thing (upside down) and I still swear the diagram I had was upside down, not me
