  1. I can swing a baseball bat pretty good though.Suck my d1ck.
  2. You're making about 200rwkw correct?
  3. Oh, I misread your post. How could you have saved $800? By aralditing your coils?
  4. Considering my Splitfire coils cost me only $615 fitted.

It's been cancelled anyway ...just when I was lightening the car

Temp is 21.4c Afew sprinkles over the past hour, just enough to make your car spotty but it's stopped now. I'll give it another 45mins...

Outdoor temp here is 22.4c This time the last 3 meetings its been up around 28c which means hopefully it will be under 20c by the time racing starts Now all I have to do is workout a way to get my jack/wheels there
  8. Per/pair as stated in the original post
  9. Well I took my car back to my clutch mechanic about 4wks ago (ive been to 3 drag nites in the last 3 weeks) just to get it checked and he said it was grabbing fine, selecting all gears fine... but he didn't actually drive it just sat in the workshop with it. Although... it doesn't grab as hard as it used to (obviously)... I used to be able to sit in the driveway idling, release the clutch slowly and it would pull the car forward into the garage (no throttle required) where as now the revs sorta dip and it wont pull into the garage without abit of throttle.
  10. The standard tyres (205/50/16) have a rolling circumference of 192.04cm work out the difference in speed here: Tyre Size Calculator
  11. Because Wakefield is a tighter track than Oran Park and the main straight wouldn't be much longer (if longer at all).
  12. Don't expect a much higher main straight speed at Wakefield
  13. I need to find a tyre sponsor
  14. Motul 4100 Turbolight (daily driving). Motul 8100 (drags/sprited driving).
  15. 1st call is always your mates, 2nd call if needed is the cops (if you know you cant handle it and cant get away). Lucky I never get into fights, i'm likely to either get smacked out like a bitch from 1 hit or put some 18yo punk in hospital for 3mths.
  16. Yes you were catching me easy coming onto the straight however that could partially have been because you had a higher corner speed giving a greater exit speed. I was using 7psi (~190rwkw) and was changing to 4th gear right on the start/finish line. From memory if I used 3rd gear thru the last corner I was exiting at about 3,500rpm where as 2nd gear gave me about 4,500-5,000rpm but I couldn't hold it flat due to that big wall approaching quickly
  17. I wasn't pushing it anything like the last Wakefield day simply because it's my only set of rubber on the car and their is not much margin for error on most of the corners unlike Wakefield stuck in the middle of a paddock. Interesting track though, certainly not what I expected, very wide too. I found using 2nd gear on the last corner gave me 10-15km/h greater top speed down the straight (170+) but I had trouble grabbing 3rd afew times going up onto the straight.
  18. The whistle is the hidden aftermarket HKS turbo, that's why the damn thing was all over my arse most of the afternoon Gotta love my 225 street rubber with 100+ laps of circuit driving, 30 drag runs and 35,000km. Yup due for a tyre change
  19. You mean having 2 hotdogs before I race could be part of the problem? Nah haven't had it on a weigh bridge although I know of 1 on Parramatta Rd. I think I just need afew mechanics to jump in and take it for a drive and just see what they think rather than dyno work.
  20. I obviously hangout at WSID too much
  21. These days I can just see the 'risk' involved in thrashing a car (of any make/model) around a very busy wharf being too high. OH&S isn't taken lightly anymore these days..
  22. Unsure on the torque figures, only have the dyno info shown above.
  23. Pro's: You get to race similar cars.Cons: Some lanes have 60 or 70 cars whilst others only have 20-30 cars. This has been causing traffic jams towards the end of the lane where the carpark/bays start meaning you might think you are lining up because your lane is full when actually all the cars infront are in line for a different lane than you (meaning you miss your run).
  24. Yup definetly enjoyed myself today. First time at Oran Park and hopefully not my last. The track certainly is nothing like I expected. I'd consider EC to be more difficult but then again my laptimes are about 10sec slower than everyone else
