Tell me about it and it has been eating me up for a good 9mths now when I see other Skylines doing better ET's, slower TS's and worse 60ft's yet i'm still stuck in the 14's and they are doing like 13.5-13.9's with less power. With a 1.9sec 60ft i'd say I have an easy 105mph TS too Click >HERE '400R' is without a doubt the best GTR i've seen run at WSID. He wasn't even stomping it off the line, just taking off like normal and waiting for boost to kick in I had 'thumper' parked behind me out the back in the lineup. I spent about an hour shitting my pants thinking I was gonna be up against him only for him to end up 2 runs behind me :)

Geeze wasn't that a massive turnout in cars. I ended up parking my car after the 3rd run to watch some of the action. Nothing like a pair of PAC Rotory Mazda's going head-2-head. My runs: 14.009 @ 102.07mph / 2.089sec (NEW PB) 14.571 @ 96.01 mph / 2.311sec (Michelins don't like 4000rpm launch ) 14.662 @ 95.29mph / 2.233sec (oops I missed 2nd gear whilst racing a GTiR) So that leaves me only a bee's dick short of a 13sec pass still with a lot of explaining to do. In detail: R/T: 0.206 (PB: 0.035) 60: 2.089 (PB) 330: 5.888 (PB) 660: 9.080 (PB) 1000 Mph: 76.77 (PB: 79.84) 1000: 11.751 (PB) ET: 14.009 (PB) Mph: 102.07 (PB) It's all down to getting more traction now

Well just add splitfire coils to the mix (that's the only difference between this graph and the last graph) for a higher output and a smoother power curve

220rwkw eh, my car was starting to lean out at 198rwkw but that was with stock injectors and ecu (a powerfc might fix this) and a Bosch 040. It might be that my injectors are running out of puff, not a fuel issue.

If you are nearing 100% just move to WA and the problem is magically solved

I'll be there !! At this stage i'm 75% competing and 25% spectating. Last week I found another 2mph (100 -> 102) and I believe their is another 2mph with some quicker gear changes.

Do yourself a favour and take it to a reputable mechanic with a dyno and get it done properly. It only cost me about $100 to have it fitted/tuned from memory and that way they can find out the best result and you get to see the increase in performance on a nice printed dyno chart. For a total of ~$250 I think it's some of the best value for money you can get in your modding. Here are my results:

Yup check your timing. I had a few things fixed only a month ago, car felt great! Took it to UAS to put on the dyno just to be sure and lucky coz it only made 172rwkw. Had the timing fixed and it jumped up to 198rwkw

That sticker defect is a new 1, good reason though I guess.

Don't forget that the RB25DET is a good 13-14yrs old and is fast becoming a "dinosaur" (in stock form).

I reckon save your money and just wait until your current rubber needs replacing and then get a new set of wheels/tyres. I've still got the stockers on my GTS-t simply because I put fresh rubber on it only a year ago so no point buying new rubber when it cost me $1,100 for that rubber.

Why not fix your traction issues before getting more power ?

$2 is actually a good price, usually I do it for free. Pity they were about 5yrs too young..
