If you have $30k why bother importing? You would have plenty to choose from (including newer models than the 89 imports) if you have $30k to play with. Imagine actually seeing, touching and driving your GTR before you hand over the cash for it ... amazing i'd say.

Common problem take a read of this thread. I fixed my problem by cleaning my air filter and by cutting the wire that links the fuel pump to the ecu and grounding it. Never stalled since I have also bumped my idle from ~660rpm to 760rpm. I can't remember ever remember my car "hunting" since turning the idle up abit.

I've been running my DBA4000 slotted F & R for about 15mths now, i'm happy.

Quick and easy solution. Swap your coils for a set of 'working' coils and see if this fixes the problem.

I've never been to an EC Trackday that has been booked out... and if it is just wait until the first session is over and cars start dropping out...

This probably isn't the best idea but I have been told by a few reputable mechanics/tuners that the "R33 Skylines idle too low for a 10yr old car and should be bumped up abit". According to my RSM my manual R33 GTS-t used to idle pretty solidly between 640-660rpm. It would hunt every now and then, so I bumped it up to around 740-770rpm and it is 300% nicer when idling/at the lights/etc. If it costs me an extra $2/wk in fuel big whoop. Edit: Obviously make sure your Air filter / AFM are clean.
