Back 10 years ago when I had serious brake issues I took it to RaceBrakes Wetherill Park. They did the usual bleed this and bleed that and told me it was ready to come pick up. I reversed it out of their work shop and nearly backed it straight into the wall opposite them because the pedal went straight to the floor. Last time I set foot in that workshop. At another local brake workshop I had new seals fitted, didn't fix it, they then sent it off to be sleeved, didn't work. I then bought a new master from Japan (back then it was about $350 delivered) and bingo fixed every problem on the spot. They refunded all the bills they gave me for the past couple of months and I added them to my list of workshops I don't take vehicles to.

Looks like it has another second in it too, well done.

Maybe I need a weekend south of the border...

I destroyed my master cylinder doing a smsp trackday about 15 years ago. I fitted new pads, rotors, fluid, stainless lines, more fluid, rebuilt master cylinder, more fluid, sleeved and rebuilt master cylinder and even more fluid and in the end it was the master cylinder all along that was giving a soft pedal. Ordered a new 1 from Japan and brakes felt great again.

Just noticed this event is the day after the V8 Supercars round, which means they'll be doing a "sponsor ride day" on the North Circuit most likely.

Just watching the GP2 race right now, SOOO much better than F1. Better looking cars, better sounding cars, better wheel to wheel racing and the only team orders are win at any cost!

iPhone 6 + Harry's Laptimer App + Vbox Sport 20Hz GPS + GoPro Hero 4 Now just to make it all work

So the setup I have put my money into is: - Harrys Lap Timer app running on iPhone 6 - Vbox Sport 20Hz GPS unit Bluetooth to the iPhone to boost the GPS signal from 1Hz - GoPro Hero 4 Black Edition 1080p@48fps wifi'd to the iPhone with 3x batteries and 2x 64gb cards - Edutige ETM-008 uni-directional external microphone mounted under the dash The GoPro can be run off a larger external battery supply but I haven't tried that yet.

FYI: If you cant wait until April, CircuitClub still has spots available on 26/1 and WRX/SSCC have spots available on 31/1. Both have instant online signup and payment.

It appears to be John's way of doing business from my past experience with him. It's the reason why I haven't even told work yet that I'm taking the day off because I may not need to.

It does have 2 seats, that's 1 of the main reasons that I bought it. I was also looking at a Stohr WF1 (which is only a single seater) but man those are a bitch to get onto a car trailer.

The Wakefield Park website has a calendar that lists the events, clubs and contact details for the first few months of 2016. Either you can grab the data out of that or I will at some point. I'm a week or 2 away from being ready to get back on the track after a couple of years away.

The V8 Supercars have started using a tpms as of this weekends round. It talks back to the motec ecu and provides dash warnings etc.
