  1. Yes i'd also like to complain about this same problem. This site has cost me about $8k already and I haven't even really started... can a Mod do something about this quick smart please before the problem escalates any further
  2. 170rwkw depending on how much bbq sauce you have on your snags..
  3. I take it he told you about the VR4 all over his ass ?
  4. I put -atleast- 100km on it
  5. It was ready on Tuesday when I was there
  6. Which causes more mess... blowing an engine or having an off at turn 1 down at Wakefield in the dust with your windows down and engine cover off
  7. Sorry Brett minor correction... "not the trackday blow up your car(s) section" Druncan Skyline Spares call 1900 xxx xxx
  8. I think out of Oran Park, Wakefield and Eastern Creen that Oran Park would be the most difficult. . .
  9. Trackdays in general are fairly busy until about 1:30pm where cars start to retire (break down), people start watching instead of participating and others go home early (the same can be said with drag racing at WSID). Wakefield is a fantastic track to learn on. My lap times went from 1:35sec -> 1:21sec on my first outing and I was barely pushing the car (more so pushing myself to trust the car). I think with some semis-slicks and another 50 laps of practice (my car did close to 90 laps on my first time at Wakefield) that I could be down into the 1:15's
  10. Try circuit racing then which is considerably more than a 400m stretch I've driven away from each of my ~40 drag runs without an issue at all. With circuit racing my avg is ~$2k damage per/trackday
  11. Just make sure he is actually there before you decide to travel over an hour to get some work done which was booked the previous week in advance
  12. You can get a full whiteline kit for that sorta money can't you?
  13. Duncan by "to the floor" do you mean as in mounted on the standard 4 metal parts on the floor or to the actual floor? I'd love to be sitting about 2-3 inches lower...
  14. ooh pretty blue
  15. Damn after reading that i'm glad to be taking mine to a mechanic tomorrow to get done
  16. I use Motul 4100 for regular daily driving and Motul 8100 when doing track work. I use it because Motul oils get fantastic reviews everywhere you read/talk, the previous owner used Motul and because the local Autobahn always has it in stock at a fair price ($49.95 / $69.95)
  17. where do I sign?
  18. I was getting this towards the end of the last Wakefield trackday, it only happened when I really heated up the back tyres and they became a bit worn/skatey. Does it happen out on the street or only at trackdays?
  19. wheel alignment, new set of tyres and a neck brace and he'll be back on the road in no time
  20. That's a lame excuse considering its about a 30min job to replace the coils and test.
  21. July/August, the months of the faulty coils. This must be about the 4th thread regarding faulty coils
  22. Whaaaat ? But I didn't see her blowing and kisses at you ?
  23. Blondie in the pink mirage :whackit:

  25. Who buys a GTR, GTS-t, RZ to lug people around in the back seat anyhow... pfft. I think the RZ Supra is 1 of the best looking cars from the factory.
