  1. Suspected intake manifold gasket leak.
  2. Err to be honest i'm not happy with my time at all, it is a solid 0.3sec off where I believe I should be. Just the basics, 3" full exhaust, fmic, 10psi, K&N panel filter, ex cam gear, 040 fuel pump, sports clutch, 225/50/16 street tyres @ 20psi.Should I decide to keep my car the next mod will be a PowerFC.
  3. All I got to say is: * P Plates will be a thing of the past, teenagers will just remove them and continue to drive and many will get away with it. * I expect to see my insurance premium go down as according to the government they will be saving lives (ie less accidents) of which im sure many are high powered cars/imports. * I hope all the pubs/clubs/etc will be suing the government for loss of income because their won't be any P Plate drivers out n about anymore. Thankgod im 22yo.
  4. Finish the exhaust and throw on an Ex Cam gear, easy 20rwkw with much nicer midrange and torque.
  5. Don't even bother looking at prices/hardware until 3 days before you are about to purchase, then do your research and hand over the cash.
  6. Don't forget the mini skirt Sam I'll be at Grey Imports in the morning getting some work done and then at work during the night grr grr
  7. Personally if it was me i'd be getting 1 fixed drivers seat simply for the added comfort and then just swapping back to my standard seat when need be
  8. Happy B'day Gonna need a "/Seniors" section soon with all these oldies...
  9. haha
  10. Apart from the rough idling what other problems can this cause? Flat spots higher in the rpm? Popping from the exhaust on down shifts? Weird on/off boost?
  11. Thier is a nice look out just up the mountains (about a 20min drive) which looks pretty cool at night time with all the cities lights which is a decent drive.
  12. Much better than in a VB bottle on top of a charade...
  13. Nah just the R33, you gotta think outside the square... as they say "If it don't fit, force it !!"
  14. You reckon I could fit a dead RB26 in my boot?
  15. Directions from Thornleigh Maccas:* Head Sth along 'Pennant Hills Rd' until you get to 'James Ruse Dr'. * Turn Left onto 'James Ruse Dr' (think the sign says parramatta or something). * Stay in the left lane and follow the signs to Penrith which is right before Parramatta Rd (you turn off left even though Penrith is to the right). * This will bring you onto the M4 which you then follow all the way to 'Mulgoa Rd' (about 25-30km). * Take the 2nd Penrith Exit (Mulgoa Rd) and when you get to the exit ramp lights turn right onto 'Mulgoa Rd' (has signs for Panthers). Construction around the Eastern Creek area so watch for changing speed limit signs. * Drive along Mulgoa Rd (about 2km), you will go past a shell, Burger King, Caltex, DickSmith, Bus Depot, etc keeping in the left lane. * Stay in the left lane, when you get to the round-about continue straight ahead. * About 50m after the round-about you will see the KFC, Krispy Kreme and Maccas signs on the left, turn left at the lights. * This will bring you into the Panthers entry road, the first drive-way to the left is for Maccas carpark, 2nd is for KFC, Lone Star, Krispy Kreme etc. Continue 20m further ahead and turn left at the round-about. * This will take you 20m down along side the KK drive-thru road, just park down on the left. Panthers Security is generally fine if you don't leave a big mess, don't look like your gonna roll someone and aren't playing music loud, don't do anything stupid as the entire carpark is under video surveillence. Plenty of seating inside KK or just outside. Carpark car security is perfectly fine. Edit: By the time you all get there Panthers (the leagues club) will be quite happening on the inside, well worth a visit. You can wear pretty much anything but thongs and beanies, or if you are female, pretty much nothing at all :boobies2:
  16. I can't see it finishing before 4pm or until John gives us atleast 2 rounds of the shop
  17. Is this the "R33 Engine Manual: RB20E, RB25DE, RB25DET, RB26DETT, 491 pages" ?? If so I've had it on my website in rar format for about 3mths. PM me (to get the correct url) if you wanna grab it...
  18. Unless your engine B-Man's before the 3rd run is over
  19. Well from the feedback in this thread i've booked my car in with Nathan next Wednesday to take a look at a vacuum leak problem I have (damn these trackdays, costs me $1,500 in repairs afterwards for each circuit day ). Looks like it could be a manifold gasket or somewhere in near the injectors, will know next wednesday arvo I guess Ah well whilst it's there i'll get a few other bits n pieces done to make it all feel worth it. Thanks for the info.
  20. Just run it FWD, then run it RWD add the 2 together, divide by 6 and multiply by 3, should be pretty close... I think.
  21. K&N have cleaning kits for about $27 which can be used multiple times
  22. Ditto except mine arrived Monday morning so a whole 2 business days is rather nice
  23. Ok they have a new payment system which i'll use my quote as an example: * 50% NCB = $2,307.77/yr * Monthly payments = $2,307.77 +10% = $2,538.55 / 10 Payments. * No "upfront" payments just 10 equal monthly payments = $2,538.55 / 10 = $253.86/mth. Edit: Got a quote from JustCars for $1,970 so i'll certainly be calling Robyn back at Famous for something "nicer"
  24. Actually i'm not so sure about it all, what I do know is: * Pay 2mths upfront. * Don't pay mth #11 + #12 If my calculations are correct thats only 11 payments ? On the phone to them now...
