  1. For the extra $50 i'd go the 040 which has a much higher capacity. No point having a pump that can 'just' flow the amount required, you want a bit extra just for safe keeping
  2. A 104.7mph pass will yield a 13.9 no worries but define 'standard' ?
  3. Aren't their "Hicas Boss Kits" ?
  4. Hrmm interesting thread. Last week (fri nite before the drags) I gave my car a squirt on 12psi just to make sure everything was running right (I never ever use 12psi, always 7psi for daily driving) and I was shocked when I got this miss/cut at 4,500-5,000rpm like mentioned in this thread. At first I thought it may have been a fuel surge as I was getting low in fuel so I filled it up and still had the miss. Then I replaced the stock air filter with my K&N (it's dirty thats why it wasn't in the begin with) and still had the severe miss. So for the past week i've been meaning to check the spark plugs (haven't checked them in the past 47,000km however UAS regapped them to 0.8 about 3mths ago and said they were fine). I've had the plastic cover removed for about 3-4mths too just to let out heat quicker. Maybe I damaged the coils at my last track day a month ago. I might put aside a few hours tomorrow to have a play around with this coil thingo if I have the right tools. I'm still not sure where/what to tape up tho? Is the tape to hold it together tigher or. . . ?
  5. B-Man bunks upstairs at UAS I swear, I see him everytime I go there
  6. Which is the reason why I split it up into small files for the broadband-less people
  7. Ok just answered my own question: http://www.nismo.com.au/major_service.htm Of the 29 jobs that UAS do their are only 8-10 jobs that I can't do myself because they require tools/knowledge that I don't have. The other ~20 items have all been done within the last ~4mths.
  8. I'm sure it has been mentioned before in another thread but is their a list of parts replaced or work performed @ a 100,000km service? My car is about to hit 93,000km and it's still driving as smoothly and beautifully as the day I picked it up (~55,000km) so im abit reluctant to go and spend $1,000 on labour/parts when it is quite possible that the speedo was "altered" before it even came to Australia (~3yrs ago) meaning my engine more than likely has already passed 100,000km (timing belt was changed at about 50,000km). Normally with computers "If it aint broke, don't fix" however my R33 is hardling a $1,000 PC.
  9. I wouldn't say any less people. Their are just as many cars at the Wed nite events as their are on the Sat events. More spectators on a Wed nite tho for some weird reason
  10. Sweet, it will match my WSID g-string
  11. Is their a spectator entry fee?
  12. Ditto Abo. Thanks B-Man Is their a recommended brand/model or are all the Japanese brands similar in quality/performance ?
  13. Good luck ! I will be there spiritually, not physically (bloody nightshift d'oh)
  14. Updated ! Matt: What rpm do you change your gears at ? With a slightly better launch you have a 12 flat begging
  15. Your Bman'd Member number is #34
  16. Where has the SAU G-strings gone? :boobies2:
  17. I use either Motul 4100 ($50) or Motul 8100 ($70) depending on what my driving will be like for the following month(s). You can pick it up / order it at your local Autobahn (in Sydney anyhow). The Redline Shockproof gearbox oil is ~$110 and you can buy it from www.nismo.com.au or CRD at Silverwater in Sydney.
  18. Don't forget: * ECU * Injectors * Fuel pump * Clutch * Tyres * Suspension Otherwise your 280rwkw is as useful as 220rwkw
  19. Your car is turbo'd? I was beginning to have 2nd thoughts that night you let me drive it, that was until you told me it doesn't kick in until like 4,500rpm Laaaaaaaaaaaaag
  20. Question; If the seat is ADR approved does that mean that once installed with rails it does not need to be engineered to be a legal modification ?
  21. Do you have a model or maybe do a search on www.google.com for a pic of the same seat.
  22. Wind up the boost alittle more, its a setting in your IE.
  23. LOL :bananaman Raise your hand if you have ever seen 2rismo NOT put on a smoke show at WSID in the burnout area before he stages ?
  24. Keep the $10k in your pocket and throw it into "track bits" for the 34 If you buy a track car you need a track trailer and also another car that can toe the trailer, I dunno about you but my driveway (and bank account) aren't that big If for some reason that an unknown person dropped a bag of cash on my front door then I wouldn't be buying a track "car" i'd be buying an old Formula Ford or Formula Holden and try my luck at something alittle closer to the real thing.
