Personally i'd be changing the oil every 12mths. Throw in some Redline Shcokproof which will help the problem. It dramatically improved my shifting however it still takes a solid 5km of driving to get it warm.

I think the photographer needs to take better quality pics before you could really comment on the condition of the car. I've been keeping a close eye on the R32 GTR cars on the Prestige list and their are plenty of cars that look awesome in the pics but have accident history, panel damage etc.

What does a pressure test involve? Shop #1 put a gadget over the filler hole (to seal it) and pumped it afew times and then green coolant started pissing out of the crack, everything else was fine.

Turns out the top tank has a 2" crack directly behind the cap where you fill it up which under high pressure/temperature it is leaking. Went to 2 places to get quotes. #1: $95 in parts or $280 fitted. #2: $120 in parts or $200 fitted. I could probably do it myself with about 2hrs of mucking around but i'd rather get it all done professionally so i'll get #2 to fit it all up tomorrow.

I don't want to go fancy I just don't want to destroy my engine nor spend millions. I'll see if I can find this ABC place today...

Actually a police officer no longer has to "show you" his radar speed reading, that law changed end of 2003. Basically the whole law works on a trust thing, they pin you but dont have to back up anything with evidence, basically what they say goes and you can't fight it (speeding, defects, blah, etc)

A few questions about Radiations in the R33 GTS-t: I noticed a few months back that their seemed to be what looked like dirty water splashed on the cover where the cam gears are, also on the side of the stock airbox. Didn't take much notice of it as I had driven through some mud and thought it had just splashed up or something. A few weeks later I did a coolant change and then headed to Wakefield and kept topping up the coolant after each session (about 200-300mL at a time) just to keep the level in the overflow bottle up to 'max'. It appears that coolant is leaking out of my radiator (im guessing only when the temperature is up) on either end of the top part near the hose and the airbox. The gauge on my dash for engine temperature still sits at the normal position (went up slightly at Wakefield after 80+ laps in 6hrs) but apart from that daily driving doesn't appear to be effecting any temps. * Is this a common problem? * Will things be ok if I just make sure the overflow bottle level is kept up on 'max'? * Is their a certain part of the radiator that can be replaced/fixed or does the whole thing need to be replaced? * If it needs to be replaced, what brand, how much and where from? I have looked on www.Greenline.jp and of the 3 available for the RB25DET they range from ~$800-2,000 depending on brand/size. Feedback?

You need to extract all of these files using WinRAR (http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm). Just open "part01.rar" and then extract the single large file to somewhere on your HDD. Then simply use Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the file.

My r33 has always idled superbly up until about 3mths ago when all of a sudden it started to rough idle / stall when (only) braking/clutching coming towards lights or around carparks etc. I thought it may have been fuel related because I go to the same BP every week so I changed back to my local Optimax station and still the same thing. Then I discovered this thread and realised my problem was alittle more of a known fault. This morning I got the fuel pump earthed out (as mentioned in that thread) and the car now idles superbly again. I have only done 15km since this change but have already noticed a massive difference.

I will be there, no idea what time... when I get out of bed. Can't see it costing anything, just drive in through the back gate and park.

Good to see another std turbo r33 into the 12's, still not sure where im gonna find a full 1sec but it'll be fun (and expensive) trying R33vit ran a 12.9sec on the std turbo with a "road tuned" P/Fc which is extremly impressive too.

...and how much are you building these for SAU Members ?
