So what about the 51 sold (of 91) for <$20k (plus onroad costs) on the www.prestigemotorsport.com.au website of which most have the same (mods) as what 'druzilla' has?

That's very hard to say. Before this year their weren't many/any R32 GTR's under $20k so it's quite hard to workout what the market will be like in 8mths time, i'd say you would be lucky with $17-19k.

I've done 236km/h in 5th at about 6,000rpm and that was pretty damn easy. I'd say its 255-270km/h.

After my first experience at Eastern Creek (as short as it was before my master cylinder decided it wanted to make bubbling sounds) I found that Duncan's comments above would have to be the #1 mistake people make. Witches hats were place at the 'turn in' the 'apex' and the 'exit point' of the main corners at EC and it was quite amazing how far you would have to dirve (straight ahead towards the edge of the track) before you have to turn in. The first few laps (with Dunan as my passenger) I felt as if I was going to run off the track and tried to turn in early (which if I was in the v8 Supercars it would have looked like I was "blocking" on every corner), it was quite surprising how far you have to stay out for before beginning to turn in. Braking is not like normal street driving (slow and relaxed), when Duncan took me out I thought we were either gonna hit the car infront, run off the road or my brain was gonna slither out through my nose (heavy braking). Once your happy with your line and gear selection give the brakes a smooth yet heavier jab than what you would normally do on the road. PS. I'm guessing the common gear at Wakefield is 3rd? with 4th down the straight? (won't reach 5th right? and 2nd being too slow for the top corners?)

A 7k launch and a few good gear changes will give you a 12.7sec atleast. (the car that I seen do this is actually for sale on here)

Do you have a pic of the actual wheels? I mean I know they are only stock and only $150 but just interested in if they have many scratches or have faded etc?

Where is the slave cylinder? Up under the dash somewhere or in the engine bay?

186rwkw on the std turbo/ecu. * FMIC * 3" full exhaust * Ex Cam Gear * Organic Sports Clutch * 225/50/16 @ 27psi * Pineapples * 10psi * K&N Filter I'd be happy with a 13.6sec or better from the above setup. Until then you won't see a smile on my face at the drags I had a clutch problem when I did that 14.1sec but excuses are excuses and I have to deal with it.

I have my clutch about 1 inch from the floor too, I have no issues with it but other people don't like the feel. Lately at the drags (before I got it "adjusted") i'd have to put my foot "flat" on the floor (and leave it there) to release the gear and then engage rather then just a quick push on the pedal. I was told by the the mechanic that supplied fitted my clutch/brakes that its because I have an organic sports clutch where the plate itself will flex when worn/hot (he had a worn 1 their and showed me how flexible it becomes just by squeezing it with your fingers). What clutch do you have?

That's what it all comes down to. Although after 20 runs and $1,400 i'm still only 0.2sec better off ... think I have many more runs to go before I can nail a 13.5sec

Less friction on the engine so less power required to make it output the same speed/rpm? I dunno...
