  1. If he is arriving with you he can park his car in the pit area with a 'crew pass' (he will need to follow you in through the "Competitors Entry Gate" and pay at the booth behind you). Then he can do/go everywhere that you can (except for actually racing his car).
  2. Hi, Any idea on how much 'lower' you are in the seat when compared to the normal GTS-t seat ? Does it come with rails ?
  3. My approx running costs are: Fuel = $50/wk Oil = $3.5/wk Oil Filter = $0.50/wk Fuel Filter = $0.50/wk = $54.50/wk Many people say that Skylines have high running costs, the only big difference I see is the weekly fuel costs (98 octane vs 96 octane = $5/wk) and also they are more thirsty compared to an average car (such as VS Commodore or a Honda Accord). The single biggest cost is the 'mod bug' (that is when you can't stop yourself modding the car). You can easily waste $1000/mth for 12mths and still not even be half done. If I did it all over again I'd just buy it... drive it to the ground and then upgrade to an R34 GT-T or an R33 GTR and 'then' waste some mulla on it
  4. Sparco have something like rails for something like 1,000 different model cars. I contacted an American website regarding the Evo 2 who said "Their are no left-hand drive Sparco seat rails for R33's available, only right-hand drive" (He must have thought I was an American). Does the Evo2 have sidemounts as well as floor mounts or just floor mounts? I can't actually remember.... Try calling the Australian Sparco Distributor (??).
  5. The more I see pics of Japan the more I want to go... Thats 1 HGE mountain
  6. Resetting makes the ECU learn 'things' all over again, it may just fix your problem. It certainly won't make anything worse. Reset it then take it for a 30min thrash!
  7. Nah sorry saving myself for the 14th. Try resetting your ECU, it only takes 20mins and it can't hirt. I'll come say g'day when/if I arrive.
  8. I have a '95 GTS-t and when I changed from a HKS Pod -> K&N Paneil Filter (in the standard airbox) I had rough idling. This was fixed after resetting my ECU.
  9. Yeah that cold air is good for us, oh well
  10. I made a $450 purchase off Nengun about a month ago (whom uses EMS) and was not hit with any taxes etc. The package arrived in 2 business days
  11. This isn't a problem with Ebay or the person that sold it to you, its your own fault. Many people blame Ebay for ripping them off etc when the purchaser doesn't read the fine print or has no idea what they are actually doing, you have now become part of this group. Also just because you buy from Nengun or similar doesn't mean you won't get stung for GST, its pretty much a luck thing.
  12. :hellpisd:
  13. I'm pretty sure that the racing starts at 2pm instead of 5pm and the entrants has been increased from 120 to 200. Nothing is listed on their website about this but it looks like just a generic message for all of their street meets. Somehow I volunteered myself to work on friday so I might head down afterwards depending on the weather.
  14. I'm on the road to 250rwkw myself and this is what i'm doing... Currently: * Std ECU * Std Turbo * Std Injectors * Ex Cam Gear * 3" Turbo Back Exhaust * Dualstage Boost Controller * K&N Panel Filter * FMIC * Clutch * Bosch 040 Fuel Pump = 186rwkw (rich) Future: * Power FC + H/C + Boost Kit ($1900) * GCG 500hp Hiflow Turbo ($1900) * Fuel Pressure Regulator ($160) = 240-250rwkw (leaned out and with a bit of luck) By the time I get there i'll need a better clutch and also some wider rims so it never ends. Now I just gotta find about $5k
  15. What electric fans do you recommend (got a url?) and approx what are they worth?
  16. ...cept the drags
  17. What mods would be required to replace my stock r33 turbo and put this 1 on?
  18. The only problem with that is not many people have access to a digital camera / scanner and those that do usually can't be bothered scanning the slips and emailing them to me. That means the list would go from about 70 -> 10. Once again it's not an issue at my end, more so lack of interest from the others.
  19. A normal Wed nite is 5pm-10pm and u can expect 4 runs but usually get 5. But this fri is 2pm-10pm (although 200 entrants instead of 120) so i'd say expect 6 but probably get 7. Edit: What does your car/plates look like?
  20. I'm not racing (200 entrants = very long waiting time between runs) but will probably end up there spectating.
  21. on the track or in your pants Majanal ?
  22. Semi-slicks, Nitto's, BFG Drag Radials are accepted, the only tyres that aren't accepted (currently) are full-slicks (as stated on the initial first post). Otherwise your time wouldn't have been added
  23. DOT approved tyres are currently accepted on this list (ie; Nitto's, BF Drag Radials, Semi-slicks etc) or am I misunderstanding something ?
  24. I'm happy to have a 'slicks' section but I'd rather not throw slick users in with Radial tyre users simply because slicks give quite an advantage. Could even make it an 'open' section (ie; any type of fuel). The problem is not my own rules n regs but the participation (or lack of) from the people on the list. As you can see by 'my list' here i'd really like to get more information but some people find it difficult to even provide their tyre sizes let alone their 1000ft mph etc. What I may do is start creating a 2nd list (with heaps more details - which can be found on any official time slip) for the 'serious' people and then slowly filter out this 'daily driver' list.
