  1. Brand new they are over $1,200ea I could buy a pair for the same price in Japan.
  2. Just curious if anyone has bought some Recaro seats from Japan before? If so how much was the S&H ? Been looking at the Yahoo Auctions in Japan and their are some really nice seats (both brand new and second hand) going for some awesome prices. Recaro SR3 = $500ish (recliner second hand) Recaro SP-G = $770ish (1 piece brand new) Momo FRP = $700ish (1 piece brand new)

  4. How many km's has he done ?
  5. Sure do -although- last week I actually went to race after spending over an hour in the scrutineering line and then another hour in the line ready to race (whilst moving a whole 3 spots forward) to then watch it piss down. Which reminds me.... I gotta ring them to find out about my ticket from last week, they said i'd receive something in the mail but I haven't. If you plan on going to race get there early (ie 4pm).
  6. Don't hold ur breath on those vids
  7. 2rismo went from a 13.471 -> 13.041sec with the help of some naws  The event as a whole I thought was extremely disappointing and certainly not worth $30 considering that the week before (Summer Nationals) I paid an extra $5 and seen an -entire- day of real professional drag cars. I won't be going back for the 4th and final round thats for sure, i'll stick to the Wed nite street meets for half the price for my drag racing entertainment.
  8. Sounds like an interesting idea... only thing is im not sure what would need servicing. I change my engine oil every 6,000km and oil/fuel filters about every 15,000km and thats it. I haven't checked my spark plugs in... well ever (so thats 30,000km) and i've never changed my radiator fluid (its still bright green after 30,000km. What else would be done on a typical service? I wouldn't mind attending just to learn abit more...
  9. Kicked out? Why ?
  10. I agree, Moanie has the best exhaust notes what is it what is it ? (although an aftermarket turbo probably has something to do with it right?)
  11. Website Updated On'ya 2rismo
  12. I spoke to the guys from GCG today at Drag Combat (WSID) and it was $1,900 for either a 450hp or 500hp (same price) + $400 for something else (they dont have any "ready built") so you have to drop ur turbo off and it takes them 2 days to hiflow it.
  13. Thats right and it only cost $8k.
  14. Pretty disappointing day if you ask me. Certainly not worth the $30 I paid at the gate thats for sure, infact i'd say that the 2 previous Wednesday nite street meets have been much better. The crowd was well.... their wasn't much of a crowd, even from 8-10pm when it was much cooler. Well done to 2rismo, B-Man, PranK, Merli etc for displaying SAU for us

    G'day from NSW :D

I'm with Merli on this 1
  22. Nah your right... but its a different type of "strip" plenty of those were built
  23. LOL you'd have to do about 8 laps for it to be 1/4 Mile. I didn't realise it was on tomorrow. I'll be there... i'll give Nick or Merli or someone a call when I get there to see where all you skankz0rs are sitting. At the SummerNationals I sat on the East side right inline with the starting tree/lights on the top level up against the fence. I found this to be a great spot because it wasn't packed with people, it was nice and close, you could see the entire track and their was about 5 food stands directly behind me
  24. I had the same problem and after pulling everything apart it ended up being dodgy contacts. Your local auto electrician will be able to put an aftermarket motor in as could mine.
