  1. You can pickup an R33 GTS-t for $18k, you can also pickup an RB26DETT for about $7k so thats $25k and you got a RWD Skyline with the power of a GTR. A decent condition R33 GTR = $40k, you see what i'm talking about ? ?
  2. Their isn't a section because no N/A's have PM'd me their details. Send me yours and I will create a section.
  3. No sorry
  4. Website updated
  5. ..and here's some pics from today. Higher resolution and more (65) available at: http://skylines.pnc.com.au
  6. I'm going tomorrow (Sunday), a mate had a Corporate box for Fri/Sat and said that Cown did a 4.6sec on friday.
  7. Why would you buy a GTR and then make it only RWD ? Might as well just buy a GTS-t and save urself $20k
  8. ..or a right foot made of lead
  9. If I got this with a hiflowed r33 turbo i'd be -very- disappointed. As far as im concerned $2,000 for a hiflowed turbo would want to get me more than 10-20rwkw.
  10. Ok and so now how much is your time worth ? At bare minimum u'd be doing 15hrs travel a week (3hrs per day, 1.5hr each way). To me thats worth about $250/wk. To me the jump at the moment just isn't worth it.
  11. I'd take more money to work like me too but I wouldn't take less.... or something  I'm due for a payrise... been here for 3yrs with no change :thumbdwn:
  12. here ya go someone put an arrow on this "sensor"
  13. Oh something else to add to the convo... Greg at RaceBrakes said that the pedal in Skylines will initially feel soft (after turning corners) because of "pad knock back". This is when you turn a corner and the rotor pushes the caliper/pad/piston back as it moves. The cause of this is warn (or starting to wear) wheel bearings. Apparently the GTR Skylines are bad from the factory where as the GTS-t's take awhile for it to appear. Was just talking to Kevin from GavSport (St Marys) and he said that they put 2psi springs in behind the pistons to force the pistons out instead of being pushed back. I might investigate this and see how it goes.

  16. I work directly opposite Penrith Plaza. If I open my office blindes/window I can smell the burgers cooking at McDonalds and get quite a nice "view" of the surroundings :aroused: I started work today at 4pm, I left home at 3:51pm and made it just in time  Normally I finish work at 4pm, I'm home and watching foxtel by 4:15pm everyday :headspin: I believe i'm under paid by about $5k but hell 10mins to/from work instead of 2hrs (car + train from Penrith -> City) twice a day im quite happy to be under paid when it means I leave home at 7:45am and get home at 4:15pm (2.5hrs of travel per/wk vs 20hrs travel).

  18. It was posted about a week ago in 1 of the other "I want 250rwkw" threads in Forced Induction
  19. Days like today make me happy to be on a lower pay (work in western sydney instead of the city) but only 5mins drive from home.
  20. I just removed and sprayed all 3 wipers in about 20mins. Piss easy job... and now my wipers look brand new again thanks to some left over $10 engine paint
  21. RB25 with a standard turbo
  22. The day I do that I give you permission to smack me upside the head
  23. ^Bump^ (postage now included in the price listed above)
  24. Well after another minor adjustment and then Roy taking it for abit of a spin last Saturday night (thanks heaps Roy) I spent the morning at Race Brakes and they couldn't fault it. The pedal feels good, I just need to get back on the track and really see what its like. So it looks like its all over, now all I need is some track tyres
  25. Well I arrived at 4:45pm and after being hissed at by a snake in the carpark (t'is ok security was there... luckily) I paid my $10 and walked the 4 mile hike to the grandstand. Boy oh boy I can't believe how long its been since I seen a Top Fuel drag car !!! Cowan did a 4.9sec pass on his second run of the day and I swear the grandstand moved about a foot when he tapped that right pedal. Another Top Fuel driver (Luke ??) had to do a 5.7sec or better pass to get his competition license and he managed a 5.4sec pass and everyone went wild. Their were plenty of "near miss" moments. Afew cars launched from the lights at right angles and had to back off at the 300ft mark otherwise they woulda ended up head on into the wall. I believe also that a Top Fuel bike ran a National record. Once again I didn't take any pics because I didn't decide on if I was going until literally when I left work. I'm not sure which day i'll be going on the weekend (a mate has a corporate box for all of friday, but im working grrrr), most likely Sunday.
