In NSW I believe you get them all back after 3yrs. It might be similar in VIC.

I like the idea of NOS. I'd like to have a quick car for the track but something that is not -as- quick for street use (temptation on the street to wind up the boost on a big turbo is quite high for me). The www.ozrace.com FAQ page is a good read.

Damn I was really wanting a Cruise Control fitted to my manual R33 just to help prevent speeding fines and also to stop my ankle from going to sleep but after looking at Ian's thread it looks like you won't get change from $1,000 If it was <$300 i'd get it instantly but $1,000 .... IanH if your car was here in Sydney and run on a Dyno Dynamics Dyno and you got 190rwkw with alllll those mods i'd be taking it all back and getting a refund Either your tuner doesn't know what he's doing or your different climate and dyno conditions are putting your power figures out compared to here.

The diameter of the filter (including the black plastic part) is 20cm The height from the HKS Cap (holds on the filter element) to the base of the silver bracket is 16cm. I'm looking for about $100 min.

My understanding is/was that normal brake lines can expand from heat where as the braided lines cannot.

I would highly recommend a set of RB74 pads for the front (www.racebrakes.com.au). Because the front does most of the work you want to have some good gear to help this and the RB74's will deffinetly last longer than a set of Bendix pads. They cost me $130 for the front set (but I paid extra to have RaceBrakes bed them in for me as I wanted it done correctly). Apart from that you could get Braided lines (front) which cost me $420 and they will/should reduce fade also.

hrmm my pedal still feels.... "weird". I got Merli to drive it last Sunday night and he couldn't fault it (did about 5 70->20 km/h stops) and he said it felt alright. I just had a full car load (4 people including me) and the pedal was nice and firm with no heavy braking just regular daily driving. But then an hour later it was just me and a passenger and my pedal was constantly much lower. I need to get some Bendix pads for the rear coz my Comp2's are squeeling (black paint got on the pad surface) so hopefully the pedal fixes itself then or I might just get someone to re-bleed it (apparently having ABS makes it trickier to bleed it "properly").

No u wont need a fuel reg. Yes it will be enough but how old is the GTR pump and how much is it worth? You might be better off getting a Bosch 910.

Just forget any memories you have of it if you have seen it in the last week. A trip to canberra (622km) has left me with about 4 squillion bugs on the front, good luck to -any- car detailer getting a professional finish on my baby right about now haha. My biggest issue isn't with the waxing (I use a spray on wax by Meguiars) but more so with the actual washing to begin with. Some dirt just doesn't want to come off easily. I think I need to pay a car detailer to do a professional job to get it back to the condition it was in when I first got it 18mths ago (thanks Matt) and then just continue on myself for another 12mths.

I passed him on the way home on Sunday arvo on the Federal Hwy beside that big dried up lake thing. We gave him the thumbs up as we went past, I kept checking my rear view mirror for the next 5km expecting him to fly past with the jet on

I seen it coming from a distance with its lights on and I thought "oh darn someone has been hit by a car doing a burnout". Then it got closer and I heard the car audio and i thought wtf is going on... then i seen a hot blonde in the car behind in fishnets and a nurse uniform and i thought "Whoooooo thats the shiznit" !!
