  1. That makes 2 of us
  2. On Sunday I seen like 20 Skylines, it was totally wicked bro its like they were all cruising together or something... wish I could be like them :headspin:
  3. I will most certainly be there to watch but may enter my car as well. I wanna see how it all goes when it first opens, im thinking its gonna be super packed.
  4. Buy a v8
  5. The only entering that i'll be doing is alcohol down my throat, cannnn't wait !!!
  6. An r33 in stock form run quite rich. You could easily bump your boost up to 10psi and install a full 3" exhaust (about $1000) and your overall performance would be dramatically improved (i'd say easy 0.5sec althought more than likely more). Another thing (irrelevant to the black smoke) is to install a set of pineapples (PM "Dr_Drift") and for about $170 installed you will have greatly improved rear traction. This will help your 60ft time (the closer to 2.0sec the better) and improving your 60ft time will improve your top end speed. Another cheap idea would be to replace the filter in your standard airfilter box with a K&N Panel Filter (think they are under $100). This will also give you better power throughout the entire 400m and also improve your times. Conclusion: * K&N Panel Filter * Pineapples * 10psi Boost = <$350 Just with the very minor mods listed above (filter + boost) you should gain around ~15rwkw which is enough to make you notice the difference whilst driving). That should knock close to 1sec off your times with practice practice practice.
  7. So when should I drop my car around JimX ? I'm free from this saturday for the next 5wks
  8. looks very clean, good luck.
  9. My gauge works 50% and doesn't work 50%, im guessing its just a vacuum leak in a hose somewhere but does this mean im low on boost or is it just my gauge that isn't working correctly?
  10. I bought my car (1995 R33 GTS-T M-Spec) in Sept '02 for $25,500 which had a solid $7k worth of light mods done to it (exhaust, suspension, audio, fmic, pod just the basics). I feel that i paid a slightly higher price for my car but I got exactly what I paid for (superb condition, light mods, awesome power for the light mods, etc). In the last 12mths i've put another $7k into it myself ($3k on brakes, bodykit, other basic stuff) and im still yet to touch anything major (hasn't even got mags yet haha). I've done 28,000km and it has not missed a single beat (never stalled, etc). I fill it with nothing but Optimax, Motul oil and myself and it just purrs in any conditions its thrown at. I think if i tried to sell my car now i'd be lucky to get about $22k for it so in my opinion it isn't even worth trying to sell im best off just keeping it for as long as possible until it starts giving me problems (hopefully well into the 200,000km).
  11. On my first ever run I managed a 14.46 with 7psi, 225's, POD, full 3" exhaust and an absolutely bucketload of axle tramp (grr grr and grrrr). If I can get rid of the axle tramp i should be into the high 13's which will put a smile on my face (for my driving ability).
  12. List has been updated. If you aren't on the list as of now it means I haven't got your email/pm/message so please send it to me again.
  13. Yup top cruise Buster, even though I lost a good 80% of my brakes for about 60% of the trip haha (that will be fixed next week whooo). Excelent turnout, probably the biggest cruise i ever been on. Was it just me or was Husky a goat track? Was interesting to visit but i dont think i could stand that place for more than 1 day hehe.
  14. For that price you might as well spend an extra $500-1000 and buy 2nd hand R34 GTR rims already here.
  15. What road is this on? Anyone got a map index ?
  16. Fooey that list above is from the last test of which the Michelin Preceda's won. I have been using them for around 6mths and they are fantastic. I guess i'll have to take a read of the latest Motor Mag during my lunch break on Monday to read over this latest set of tests.
  17. 2rismo i seen on tv that some hwy between here and the gong is flooded bong on !
  18. You say that as if their are alot of hilly twisty roads, are their coz my brakes aren't fantastic either
  19. Is this only for cars or can I enter 1 of the gals from around the corner... she buffs up good
  20. I heard half of it is under water right now... maybe you could go snorkling down the hwy ?
  21. For Ms Paint those pics are quite good, im lucky if I can write my name in that program
  22. We have already established (above) that the weight is 10kg vs 18kg. If you are buying it purely for weight saving then don't bother ($1,100 for 8kg ur kidding right.. go on a diet for a week). But if you are buying it for the looks or extra cooling vents then they are fantastic.
  23. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...eight+reduction Stock R33 bonnet = 18kg UAS c/f bonnet = 10kg Thats not true c/f either, so for alittle bit more in Japan you could get a real c/f bonnet which would probably be
  24. Longhurst vs Morrison (BMW's) ... ahh those were the days
