Actually you gotta do a helluva lot better than a 12.98 in a GTS-T to be at the top of the list nowadays. Take a look at my thread here (http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...&threadid=22444) R33 GTS-T 01. 12.260 = Buster (1.85 60ft, 118.30mph) 02. 12.380 = matlowth (2.38 60ft, 123.45mph) 03. 12.408 = WET33 (1.98 60ft, 111mph) 04. 12.412 = Merli (2.03 60ft, 114.47mph) 05. 12.900 = BOOSTD (2.2 60ft, 111.49mph) 06. 12.988 = macka (2.25 60ft, 113.35mph) That 12.260 was done with ~320rwkw with more power to go so a 12-flat isn't far from happening. It looks like Macka has the power just not the traction to put down a -really- good time. If he could get a 2.0 60ft a 12.5 would be on the cards. Still though I personally would be happy with any <13.0sec daily driven GTS-T.

As an example: For my car (which includes mods from the previous owner and my own mods) to give "just power": * HKS Pod Filter = ~$300 * Boost Controller = ~$300 * FMIC = $1800 * Full exhaust = $2000 * 520hp fuel pump = ~$340 = ~$4,740 But then to put that power to the ground and to stop (obviously not -required- but deffinetly wanted): * Michelin Tyres = ~$1000 * Suspension = ~$2,700 * Brake Upgrade = ~$2000 = ~$5,700 Now theirs $10,440 and you havent even done other "general" things like ECU, Turbo, Injectors so for the people suggesting Turbo upgrades i'd like to see you bolt on a turbo for under $5k and see how long it lasts (but thats just my opinion). PS, the above gave me over 200rwkw too so im quite happy with that.

Can anyone explain what the difference is between manual and tiptronic? I understand it as just a simple up/down tap of the gear stick without using the clutch? If that is so then it would be hell quicker than a regular manual (unless the automatic-tiptronic system takes aaages to change gears). Seems to be afew decent looking R34 GT-T's being imported at the moment for a nice price.

You also wouldn't have traction, a fuel system to handle the turbo and other restrictive parts.

I'm thinking that with EC in its current state (ie; a temporary Drag Strip) that it wouldn't be possible but im sure when the new 1/4 is open (<2mths i believe) then it will/should be available for hire.

Yeah im using 8100 this time round too, think it was maybe $4 difference. Just grab whichever is on the shelf.

Autobahn here in Sydney stocks Motul. I used to get 4100 Turbolight off the shelf until i went to get it 1 day and they said i had to order it specially in for me. A month later it was back on the shelf
