Interesting discussion.... So Rev210 how long have you been using this stuff for ? Also have you done any before / after dyno runs to see the difference ? Sounds like a nice idea but then again if its that good why isn't everyone doing ie (everyone been all HPI cars).

Yup same thing happened to me when I asked Jax to machine my rotors. They looked at the DBA specs and basically said nope they are illegal. I then went up to my trusty Better Brakes and they looked up the Nissan specs and it was 16mm and 28mm so they machined them without a problem. You still have a good machining left in those rotors so use em till they are dead (probably another years worth). DBA4000 Club Spec Slotted Rotors are around ~$1000+ brand new.

Very nice ! Anyone ever made over 300rwhp from the stock turbo ? I'm currently at 272rwhp still with stock ECU and for some silly reason i'd rather upgrade everything but the std turbo just as something different to do.

What ECU are you running and what rwkw did you make ?

14psi ?? Interesting.... Using the stock turbo and stock ECU im currently at 272rwhp. I'm still quite confident I can get the stock turbo much higher than that (well 285+ rwhp) with probably another $2500-3000 of various minor mods.

I live about 20-25mins away from these illegal street drags that were mentioned on www.news.com.au (im not sure for certain coz i've never been to them and don't know -exactly- where they are). We have legal street drags at Sydneys Eastern Creek drag strip every second wednesday and let me tell ya ur doing well to watch 1 good meeting in every 4. The cost is $15 which i believe is alittle exxy, around $8-10 would be more the suitable price I think. The facilities are very good and you get a full view of everything from the 1 spot so that isn't a problem. With the drags being held from 5pm-10pm on a Wedneday during a normal week just isn't right at all. Most people are stuffed from work and couldn't be bothered attending (or is it the entry fee's). Then for the drivers it costs $45 with no guaranteed runs. If you dont get there before 5pm your lucky to get 2 runs if that before the night ends. It would also be quite difficult for 90% of the working population to get there at 5pm to race. In <3mths the new dedicated drag strip will be ready to go. Hopefully this means cheaper prices, weekend runs and in general a much better experience for the average jow blow (ie; actually being able to drag your mate instead of being paired up with a 9sec Pac Rotor).

Im still not quite sure what these things do... Will they have any benefits over the stock plenum if you only have a stock ecu and stock turbo ?

I'm guessing this is some sort of device that u can flick a switch and it suddenly bypasses the cat ?
