  1. 3.95 acres actually They have a decent range of tool trolleys, socket sets and spanners, enough to keep the backyard mechanic satisfied and like I said reasonable on price too!
  2. Bunnings are actually the easiest place to get Sidchrome and Kincrome tools and at reasonable prices too
  3. See you guys in the morning...
  4. A doctor might be better at fixing that problem...
  5. Even though I have been following Skaife my entire life I still consider Triple8 a Ford team
  6. I'd still take my PerformanceBox over a MyChron any day of the week. Knowing split times as you lap is an absolute must so you can break the track up in to 3 sectors and work on then individually rather than aiming for an overall laptime but then having zero clue which part of the track you improved on. The additional data provided by the gps is fantastic too!
  7. F1 starts at 3pm, movie will finish at around 3:45pm, you won't be home until after 7pm.....I see a problem
  8. If anybody is lost on the day with road directions to/from or when up at katoomba around the area yell out to me (red ss ute) lived in penrith my entire life and spend 14hrs a day on the roads in the blue mountains so know it better than anywhere. As a side note for the journey home from Katoomba which I think will be after 4pm, in all honesty it's going to be an absolute shit fight getting from Katoomba (iMAX) to Penrith (M4). Due to massive highway road works, during the week it has taken from 1.5 to 3 hrs just to do half that trip of 21km (which is normally around 15-20mins tops) so do not expect to get home any time before 8pm and make sure you have plenty of fuel for idling in traffic because fuel servo's are few and far between. The absolute worst weekend of the entire year to hold this event but still im looking forward to it.

  11. Don't buy any "extra mounts" you are wasting money, instead by a "camzilla" mount for them at www.camzilla.com.au (get the double suction assembly mount) guarantee you wont be disappointed compared to the annoying plastic bits n pieces the factory gopro uses.
  12. I've never had this issue, just load which ever track im at and soon as I start driving it automatically starts timing and uses the loaded track data for the splits and start/finish and it displays them everytime I go past that point without touching any buttons. The split times is brilliant for people like me that are beginner track drivers but wanting to improve. You drive past the first split time and know instantly how you are doing, if you are a second off you know that driving at 110% for the remainder of the lap is going to do anything so you back off a couple of seconds to save the tyres/brakes. The beacon timers give you no info until you cross the start/finish line, infact they give you no info at all, just your actual time. When you get home and analyse your times you cant remember why you did those times because you dont have the data to show you. As you mentioned the PerformanceBox is really good because of the data it saves to memory card. Just taking a look at the data of my 3 fastest times its amazing how much difference their is in the actual data (corner speeds, corner lines, straight line speed etc) it's all very close yet so far apart (1km/h here and there makes a difference) when you are chasing time. Don't forget the PerformanceBox is more than just a laptimer, I dont have a speedo in my aussie car so I use it as my speedo, you can buy additional components to record temperatures etc and it does your 1/4 mile times as well.
  13. Online multiplay is where its at....or if you prefer something more serious signup to iracing.com
  14. Very good game, bought it along with a Logitech G27. I love the realism of the tyres and brakes cooling and warming depending on how you drive etc.
  15. September 20, 2010 Australia will have a television channel dedicated to motor sports from November 1, when Premier Media Group launches Speed. Speed will offer extensive racing coverage 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Whether it’s on four wheels or two, on land or water or in the air - if it goes fast it will screen on SPEED (FOXTEL Channel 505) and SPEED HD (FOXTEL Channel 206). Premier Media Group (PMG) chief executive, David Malone, said: “PMG is home to Australia’s leading sports broadcaster FOX SPORTS and we’re delighted to be expanding our terrific sports offering to include a channel dedicated to motorsports with the launch of SPEED. “PMG is committed to taking the sports broadcasting experience to exciting new levels for all Australian fans and with FOX SPORTS, plus FUEL TV’s ever-broadening array of action sports, SPEED is a wonderful addition - and another Australian first.” Fans will be able to experience NASCAR like never before with the most extensive broadcast of the Sprint and Nationwide series, with LIVE telecasts of the practice, qualifying and main race, plus SPEED will go interactive with HotPass - four dedicated driver channels for the Sprint Cup which will include different on-board cameras as well as the audio feed from the pit crew. SPEED will also offer LIVE and EXCLUSIVE coverage of the NASCAR Camping World Trucks Series. SPEED channel manager, James Harrison, said: “It’s fantastic to be launching a channel targeted at the multitude of motorsports fans in Australia, and to be heightening their viewing experience with the introduction of the HotPass technology in our Sprint Cup coverage.” One of the world’s premier motorcycle racing series - Superbike World Championship - will also be at home on SPEED, with coverage of EVERY race LIVE, commencing in early 2011 with the prestigious and challenging circuit at Phillip Island. Fox Sports' Jessica Yates will host SPEED’S LIVE and EXCLUSIVE coverage of every race, with expert commentary from former 500cc race winner Kevin Magee, who also won the Australian leg of the Superbike World Championship in 1991 and 1992. Other live action on SPEED will include the British and International Speedway, Super X, the GT1 World Championship, Rolex Sports Cars and much more. Recognising the appetite of Australian fans for more motorsports, there will also be prime time racing from the V8 Supercars, Dakar Rally, Formula 2 and World Series Sprintcars. SPEED will be available to FOXTEL sports subscribers from November 1, 2010.
  16. Matt, Bunnings have got some very good prices on tool cabinets at the moment, for the price I paid you can get nearly the same in Kincrome with matching top box.
  17. VEK Tools, Cumberland Hwy next to McDonalds. That place is dangerous, could easily blow a months pay there in an hour!

  19. Thanks to that bloke that towed the club trailer there and back and also helped cook the bbq and did a tiny skid during his lunch break
  20. then you weren't consistently doing something else throughout your runs then....
  21. HP vs MPH mean shit when traction is factored in. Losing traction shortens the distance available to use the HP which obviously means the MPH will be lower.
  22. I'll give you fifteen whole dollars...
