  1. Ahhh no airbag bummer, I was looking for 1 with an airbag.
  2. Sorry not sure because im not sure what a good weld looks like myself.
  3. Sorry I can't because I didnt understand it really myself. I spoke with 1 of the mechanics at 'Cobra Exhausts' in Penrith on Mulgoa Rd just next to Westbus. Don't have the number on me but im sure its in the phone book if your keen.
  4. Does it have the airbag? Can you email a pic to [email protected] im very interested.
  5. I dropped it at my local exhaust specialist on the way home yesterday (where I got my front/dump/cat done). He suggested that if I wanted to turn my car into a race car that wasn't a daily driver and if I had plenty of money to burn then sure go for it. But if its a daily driver with light trackwork then all its going to do is shorten the life of the front/dump pipe down to about 8-18mths. He's had many cases where the dump pipes only lasted from 8mths (RX3) through to only 18mths (R33) because the pipes could expand and contract properly with the heat.
  6. That -was- for all 4, you won't get them at that price now though as it was a large order groupbuy. The fronts were about $210ea and the backs about $202ea from memory. Then it was about $80 to have them fitted etc. Only 30hrs until I get my car back with braided brake lines, new pads and a caliper overhaul whooooo. I'mmmmmm excited !!
  7. Anyone got any pictures of exhausts 'heat wrapped' ?
  8. We did, about 5mths ago... guess you missed the boat. Got the DBA4000 series slotted and fitted for like $900.
  9. Posting these pictures on behalf of Peter.
  10. That would be great. If someone can post some before/after dyno results of the non/heat wrapped or even some before/after temps it sounds like a cheap effective modification. When you guys say it makes the turbo spool quicker are you talking 100-200rpm or 500-700rpm ?
  11. So it is... /turns on signatures
  12. Both Munro's (didnt see his post) and LagWagon's details have been added.
  13. Thats a pretty cool website red... exactly what I was after. Pity tho from 7 different insurance companies the cheapest was $573 and the most expensive was $577.
  14. Generally you will find its only when 'they' specify. Your $30 for 5mins of use isn't going to cover the wages of 20 people that need to be there while you run.
  15. It depends on your type of brake pads but usually its a series of heavy braking followed by a 10-15min cooling off period (ie; no braking). Check on the manufactures website for exact instructions.
  16. would 8100w - 5w-40 be too thin for a '95 gts-t with 76,600km on the clock ? Coz Autobahn dont stock the 4100 10w-40 anymore i have to order it.
  17. I've never ever had squeaky brakes, even with my 1wk old RB74's. The brake mechanic at 'Race Brakes' said if u are getting squeal then go and 're-bed' them in again. This will roughen them up and usually removes squeal.
  18. I'm off to get another 1 of these today, got abit slack n did 6,500km ouch (including a trackday) !!
  19. So its chatswood at midnight and then via ??? to newport ?
  20. Motul Turbolight 4100 10/40.
  21. blonde, 5'10, about 55kg, >20yrs, 3 slices
  22. Thought you had all the good gear with ur brakes Roy ?
