S1 stock Turbo's are only around the $500 mark anyhow I believe, not going to be a -huge- repair bill if something does go wrong.

swap them around so they are set for traction and you will notice a difference.

how many laps did you do? Or what sorta time did you get actually on-track?

Can we get this thing happening? Lots of awesome times been done lately and it would be good to get like a top 50 or something (with the best time for each driver listed). Would be good for the people thinking of dragging but want just that little bit more of an incentive.

Thats it alright. I think my car launches harder with 2 people in the back then what it does with just myself. The extra weight most deffinetly helps. I've got 2mth old Koni Shocks and 4mth old Pineapples, my last bet is new Dunlop FM901's to replace the Falken ZE502's. If they dont fix the problem (or dramatically improve it) im not sure what else can be tried. I just wish somebody could give a reason as to why it happens (too hard, too soft, wrong setup, etc).

Thats some impressive power your making out of those relatively basic mods. How long ago did you install the PowerFC, early on or later on? 14.7psi is abit high on the stock turbo, I get told that 12-13psi is a risk on warm-ish nights. I think if you can get your traction problems sorted (thankgod someone else gets axle tramp, was beginning to think i was the only 1) then you should see a 12.7-12.8 easily.

It does and I do think they were making excuses. Don't spose anyone has pics of where all the bolts and stuff are, much easier then me spending an hour looking for all these hidden bolts (or disconnecting the wrong thing).

When I had my car at the exhaust place getting some work I wanted them to adjust my IC pipes and re-position the IC. They said they couldn't get my S1 M-Spec bar off coz it was joined into black plastic behind it... Anyone know anything about this ?

My experience of the AutoSalon.... $2.20 M4 Toll into Homebush, $10 to park my car, then told It would be an hours wait to get into the showroom at the cost of $18, did a U-turn and went straight back home. I'll try and make it earlier next year I think.

I use Motul Engine oil and Redline Gearbox Oil, do a search for either of these and you will have hours of reading.

* Exhaust Cam Gear ($250) * Boost to 10-12psi ($200) * PowerFC ($2000) * Good quality tyres ($1100) * Pineapples ($150) Forget the bigger turbo, the extra power you make out of it will be lost in hitting boost and putting the power to the ground. You want a constant steady power curve to give you instant power and the stock turbo will deliver more than enuff power for this. If your -really- after a 'bigger' turbo just get the stock turbo hiflowed, once again it will deliver more than enuff power and will boost up similar to the stock turbo. Now how many people spend heaps of money on their engine but forget that somehow they actually have to put all that power to the ground? Do yourself a favour and buy a set of good quality tyres (back atleast). Pineapples will give the rear end better squat and will force the car into launching harder in a straight line which is exactly what you need. Note: The only experience I have is reading forums, not putting theory into practice. But thats only until I get a good set of tyres.

With your current mods I'd say u have around the 180rwkw figure if everything is running well.

I think if i ever had a chance of catching up with someone who was trying to break into my car or steal it i'd probably end up in jail charged with something. If my steering lock isn't on the steering wheel its on the passenger side floor only an arms reach away. They'd certainly wake up with a red "Pro-Lock' mark indented on their forehead thats for sure.

I fill up at the same station, same bowser every week. I fill it until it clicks and then just slowly fill it until i reach even dolars (usually another 0.5-1.0 Litres). In the end its around 60ish Litres. Find a good pump and stick to it is my theory.

thoughts: ? I'd love to try your ECU+Hiflowed Turbo on my car and see what it could do as im sure i could get more than 220rwkw from it.

Yo frank did you just use your normal street tyres and stock R34 GTT Rotors? How did it all hold up? I noticed the track was alittle wet (??) so im guessing that not everyone was pushing as hard as they could ?
