Just a FYI for the n00bs like me... My local "Better Brakes" mechanics (do my whole families braking needs) said it would take between 1-1.5hrs to fit 4 new rotors at a cost of $65/hr labour. So about $100 and they can be fitted (about 1/3rd of what i thought it would cost).

I bought the proper Air Box from UAS about 3 months ago now and its been sitting in my boot ever since. I need to get someone/somewhere that can cut a hole in the bottom metal part and put a nice pipe down to the corner of the front bar. Im sure it would take the right person about 30mins to do if they had the correct tools (which I dont).

If my problem caused 25 other drivers to miss out on a drive and 3/4 of the paying crowd to leave 40mins early then i would cop it sweet. If the organisers were smart (and also cared about safety) they would match the rotors (and other ~8-10sec cars) against each other. If I didn't suffer from stage fright I would have been on the 1/4 at the Creek about 3 months ago.

Im not sure if my speedo is out but mine goes way past the 180km/h pin as well, atleast 190km/h (looks to be the same distance past the 180km/h as wher ethe 190km/h mark would be). Thats pretty much flat in 4th and if you drop it back to about 175km/h and throw it in 5th it has just as much punch and wants to keep going.

and the difference between a dogbox and normal syncro is ?

I totally agree, if you hold up time because you rip a burnout and fry your clutch and need to be towed than you should be fined $50+

Rotors ??? ROFL x100 They rip a decent burnout (whilst bursting your ear drums), they then can't launch coz the drivers are either sh1t or the car has problems, finally by 1/2 track distance something breaks and they just pull out. I think about 1 in 10 Pac Performance cars is actually worth while dragging, the rest should be just used as a spare parts bin.

Yup 13.7 on his first run and then 2nd run didn't happen coz oil was on the track and they ran out of time

Thats a great time Jeff. I was there last night (as a spectator) to watch Brett (Buster) and Eric (xrsist) race. I seen your run (couldn't hear the time coz the next car was busy ripping a burnout) but it seemed like a steady smooth run. After that I walked over to behind the pits and seen your car (now i know where I have seen it before - on here), checked out the rims... couldn't see the driver anywhere so kept walking. Buster and xrsist ended up missing out on there 2nd run coz some fuel tried to rip a burnout in a car that shouldnt even be pushed let alone started and dropped oil all over the place. Next time I'll yell out to u as u hit drop the clutch
