  1. anyone able to answer my other Q's above ?
  2. Geeze Minh sounds like your right into rims :bahaha:
  3. I didn't use any primer or clear just about ~3 coats of gold and it seems to be sticking fairly well. I mean once everything is back together its only subject to heat, nothing else. But still i did a bodge job (first time playing with an engine and not exactly a painting expert) and i think my results (close up) reflect exactly that. If i did it again i'd let everything dry 3x longer and use primer etc etc.
  4. I did a search on google i think for aussie websites and they seem to be around the $195-$215 price for a brand new unit. I have absolutely no idea where they go or anything like that :bahaha:
  5. Sounds like a good day out to me. Someone lend me $5k so i can do some mods and enter my car
  6. Good Q's Jimmy coz im up to the same type of area with my mods. 203rwkw and im thinking that a Rising Rate Fuel Regulator ~$190 should help fix up my leaning out problem at top end on 12psi. Even if it doesn't it'll be needed anyway sometime throughout this year. The Rising Rate Fuel Regulator needs to be tuned I believe ? Lemme know if you get any prices Jimmy I might be in for a group buy
  7. Can someone throw a link to the GTST Rotor's ? I had a look on the website but couldn't find the 909 model. Can only the front be done ? (or only the rear?). Would this be worth doing or could it be dangerous having 1 set of brakes stronger than the other? Can the stock calipers be used with the aftermarket dba rotors? I've always wanted to fit bigger/better brakes to my car just not this early (which is why im asking q's).
  8. Can someone also please post an image of this thornleigh maccas from www.whereis.com.au for the people that aren't familar with the area (lets see how many people post directions rather than an image)
  9. can someone please do a 'confirmed / maybe' attendee's list ?
  10. Some pics of my "Wine Red" car: http://skylines.pnc.com.au/ben.html
  11. Always handy: http://shop.importdriver.com.au/store/prod...ry104.inetstore and.. http://shop.importdriver.com.au/store/prod...ry112.inetstore Fairly cheap i guess... :uh-huh:
  12. I dont notice any difference at all between being full or only having 5L left. Even when I give it a squirt.
  13. Too much viagra Lozza ?
  14. Well before filling with 63L the needle is right in the midle of the 'E'
  15. I think the reason why Neil *tosser* Crompton commentated for the Melbourne GP was coz it was the "Australian GP" and everyone was excited. It was great to watch the entire thing tho, fri practice, sat qualifying, sunday race. I watched the Malaysian GP up until midnight (when Webber pulled out) and it was a fantastic and fast track, great to watch. But its nowhere near as good as watching the practice + qualifying hype when its just the race on tv at midnight. I really wish all these paytv companies would get their acts together.
  16. I would highly recommend UniGroup. I've been to 2 Dyno Days (just power runs) with those guys and they act and work in a very professional manner. When I find another bank to rob and get myself a PowerFC i'll have no doubts in knowing where to take my car. They are located at Girraween. http://www.unigroup.com.au for more info. With your car i'd be expecting 185+ rwkw
  17. I fill up when I run out. The R33 has a 65L tank and i usally manage to fit ~60L in everytime.
  18. Nah just a red R33, red is faster.
  19. My god it does happen to other people and i thought it was just me. This exact same tailgating issue happened to me about 3 times in the first 2 months. One instance even lasted thru about 4 suburbs (about a 6 or 7km stretch of rd) another was on the GWH for over 15km. The girl in my car at the time was pretty stressed out and it was ticking me off majorly. I ended getting the 2nd cops number plates but never reported it coz it was too late to be worrying about them. I tell ya though im sick to death of the NSW cops, i think i've only ever met 2 nice cops in my life and they were the 2 that checked up on us at the Unigroup SilviaNSW Dyno Day afew months back coz they had a report we were running an illegal brothel lol. Yesterday my mum started working at the Police Academy in Goulborn teaching all the nsw cops how to drive. She too has been the victim of tailgating and asshole cops (she has her own driving school business so they have picked on her also). She said she's gonna may it clear to them that their attitude stinks on the road. whooo Edit: Apparently my headlights are heaps bright (i get other drivers flash me atleast twice a night when driving) so after the cops finish tailgating me i always follow them for alittle just to remind them who's lights are brightest
  20. Bump... Updates peoples Bump...
  21. Damn, I have a habit of sitting on 120km/h on the M4 its just perfect for my car. Now and then i'll give it a squirt but I generally check out the cars nearby me. I've been on my way home quite afew times when I have seen a cop car just getting positioned or just going the opposite way, lucky
  22. I found it to be the perfect place for a boost gauge.
  23. Personally.... R32's do absolutely jack squat for me, i'd rather a VR Commonwhore. Their has only ever been 1 R32 that i have looked at twice and it was dammmn tough (was at the Wollongong Australia Day Cruise). I'd deffinetly be looking at a SII R33. Purely on the fact that they are a newer than a R32. Newer generally means less problems, better condition, less money needs to be spent on future repairs and in general a better running/handling car. I got my R33 only 5-6mths ago and if i was doing it all over again i woulda held off another 6mths and gone straight to an R34 GTT.
  24. $45 a head for food? It doesnt even cost me that much a week for food. I'd much prefer a bbq or something like the rest of the cruises.
