What laptimes were you guys doing in the cars ?

Usually on a thursday or friday I pop into /Events to see whats happening over the weekend, It would be -REALLY- helpful if the people that create threads actually put the date in the thread title. It just makes things alot easier to read and also quicker to search for upcoming events rather then [eg] "This Saturday Night" which was actually 3 weeks ago. Thanks.

although back on topic..... I believe the guards need to be flared to get R34 GTR Wheels to fit. Damn they are sexy, I think the only Wheels I like on Skylines.

Don't believe anything on nengun's site. Everytime I have emailed to get a confirmation of a price/product the reply has basically been "no sorry we dont stock that anymore" or "the price is now...." For instance the R34 GTR Used wheels he has on the site are only au$2400 now not $2700. (Aussie dolar gone up)

Just to let you know that after doing 350km on my new clutch it feels practically like the standard clutch now. Launches HEAPS harder but isn't as hard to take off, go down the gears like it was on day 1 of putting it in. Very happy.

Yes they will help. My cornering has been much more stable since installing the pineapples. I have also noticed that wet weather driving is more consistant with the pineapples installed.

How big is the radar detector? Can you leave it permanently under your seat or must it be sitting up on the dash ? How long have you had it ? How does it get 'tuned' for Au ? What sort of range does it have ?

also confirm that the electric window little black box thingy (size of a wallet) is screwed into the door frame or double-taped to something, this will certainly make an annoying rattle sound.

I had my std clutch replaced at 67,000km. I *thought* it was absolutely perfect (ie no slipping -ever-) but now after putting a new Daikin Clutch in i have released that it certainly picks up the power easier now.

Yup I'd recommend www.unigroup.com.au they are fair dinkum fella's and treat everyone quite well. When I eventually get my PowerFC it'll be the first place I go for assistance and tuning. Not sure on the prices for actual tuning (only ever done the $40 3x power runs) but you get what you pay for these days and decent tuners certainly won't be the cheapest. Im sure another SAU Day or Silva or whateva dyno day will be held in another 2-3mths. Hopefully by then i'll have my cams in.

Has anyone done before/after dyno with this exhaust cam gear yet? Is an aftermarket ECU 'required' for these or is it only an 'advantage' ? I'm looking for little things to get me up over 210rwkw on the Std ECU/Turbo and this looks like the next step. Whats the typical cost to have these installed + tuned at a dyno shop ? Edit: I was also liking the rice factor of the HKS Purple+Blue

The car came with a Micks Metalcrafts 'bar n plate' FMIC which i have been told has quite a thick core (Not sure on the exact measurements I had them here somewhere but lost the info). Didn't touch the AFM 2 Stage boost controller, can't remember the brand. Not sure when 12psi comes on but 1 of the 'Unigroup' guys on the forums here said in 4th gear on the dyno I was making 6psi @ 2,200rpm. I have no idea if thats good or bad. Ben.

I actually noticed the other day (in regards to this thread) that with the ignition on my fuel light is not lit up. (98% sure i have a S1 - 10/95 build date). I usually fill up when the fuel light pops on n off for 5k. Yesterday when i filled up as above i filled up with 60L untill it kept clicking off.

It does not leak, if it leaks you have a valve issue. My mum (driving instructor) has been using nitrogen now for about 3mths. It has not changed in pressure at all since day 1. Previously she had to check her tyres fortnightly because they would loose pressure. The tyres are much cooler after long drives and the ride is slightly smoother. When I get new tyres i will deffinetly be doing it.

Im not sure of the difference between standard and shootout mode but im guessing their is a small difference. R33's are speed limited to 180km/h A stock R33 you are probably looking at mid 14's at a vague guess and maybe 0.5sec less with the mods.

About 2psi i was told.

I took my car to my friendly local Better Brakes workshop and they did it for free. They were gonna charge me $10 but in the end they didnt care coz our family has been getting brakes thru them for years. Probably cost you $25 elsewhere which I would advise to do coz its cool looking under your car and seeing all the bits that you don't normally see

Im sorry but it sounds WAY low to me, with those sort of mods i'd be expecting around 155-160rwkw, but then again all dyno's are different they say.
