1 thing i forgot to mention was that i have my C/C set to 22c +1 Fan set on for everytime i drive my car. So im quite confident that i could avg out at around 450km/60L everytime i drove the thing.

If you are running a stock Turbo then leave your boost at about 10.5-11.0 as the stock turbo can only handle 12psi (and no point running it constantly at full boost). I've got a '95 S1 which has done 65,000km and purrs like it should. Cat-back exhaust, FMIC, boost controller and a HKS Airpod. @ 7psi i got 169rwkw @ 12psi i got 192rwkw So u could expect similar results from your mods.

Onya Jimah ! I have no idea how long my fuel filter and spark plugs have travelled but i know at minimum 12,000km. I would say my average fuel economy would be about: 17.2L/100km (350km from 60L) if i drive hard. 15.0L/100km (400km from 60L) for an average week 11.7L/100km (513km from 60L) best ever while still hitting the speed limiter about 4 times. Im quite confident that if i drove the car like a normal human being with light freeway driving i could get around 10.8L/100km whilst driving on stock boost. If i knew how to change the fuel filter i'd probably do it. (Easy on my old Pulsar i'll have to take a look on the 'Line).

Damnit i need a police scanner. A lady who's computer i fix has 1 and its quite interesting to listen to all the high speed chases. Last chase i heard a WRX ended up reversing into a Highway Patrol Car trying to set the airbags off. Edit: Can anyone pm/post a URL for a police scanner ?

If i just drive to work and cruise around my town i'll get 370km from 60L's If i visit some women 30mins north afew times a week i'll get 400-425km from 60L's. It just depends on what roads i drive on because i only have 1 style and thats 'go hard or go home'. :burnout:

I just got my best ever fuel economy. Its now 513km from approx 59L which is approx 11.5L per/100km.

I didn't realise Vortex was only 96ron until the dyno day and -every- tank since has been optimax 98ron. The pinging was "ever so slight" so the dyno guy said while he was wearing some headset connected to the motor.

I think the powerfc is the way to go. I cleaned my exhaust pipe like only 10 days ago and its sooo chockered with black soot that my car must be running -very- rich. If it can give me an extra 30km/tank and an extra 15rwkw with my current mods then the money will be worth it i think.

It was at a SAU Dyno Day (www.unigroup.com.au) and it was with 25 other Dyno'd cars. I have the printout at home i'll see if it has the A/F figures and scan it in.

I'm keen on a track day even if i was to only do 2 laps but the bbq sounds good as well.

Has it just all of a sudden stopped ? or does it work/stop/work/stop ? Have you taken the upholstery off and looked at the connections? My driver-side window had that problem for 3mths. In the beginning i'd just give the door a whack or just open/shut my door and it would start working again. (long enuff to close my window). But after taking a longer closer look i noticed 3 loose wires on the motor. Shoved em back in, taped it all up and its been working better then ever. Cost me $0 and about 45mins of my time.

Ahh so that is Harrys. The first time i cruised into the X with some mates we stopped at that Shell Servo and im thinking "wtf is happening over at that caravan". Now i realise its Harry's.

Dumb question but what do u actually do at a track day ? Is it just you skyline guys or are their a 100 other sorts of cars ? Are you free to just cut laps as you please or do you have a certain time period etc ? I'd love to go to a track day just so that i can work out the limits of my car on a wide open circuit without the worry of cops or other cars.
