  1. Once again no invitation..... (available fri/sat nites only)
  2. Lucky it only went for 10.7sec I wouldnt have been able to hold the camcorder still for much longer...
  3. If you want track time doing a SuperSprint is about the least economical way of doing it. Good luck Neil.
  4. Their is no doubting that it is a nice car but street racing in canberra and street racing in south western sydney, it will only take 1 cop with half a clue and this car will not only be banned from WSID but banned from NSW Roads too.
  5. ...or attend the Anzac Day event at Wakefield Park with CircuitClub and qualify as part of that day.
  6. Just contact MDTC via their website and organise a time when Gary will be there.
  7. This isn't the first time this track has ever been used...
  8. Lucky I brought my special window wax hey....
  9. Jayne was down at the MDTC today so she might be slow in sending u the payment details.
  10. The Redbulls certainly seem to have the most sorted cars for the Melbourne GP. The Ferrari and Merc's seem to be able to do 1 quick lap here n there but not consistently. If Webber doesn't get a podium tomorrow he'll have blown a big chance on some good points.
  11. Their is a paypal option after you fill out the online form.
  12. Neil or Duncan going absolutely full pace like they did at Oran Park (ie super late braking, sliding through corners, cutting ripple strips, etc etc [and fully in control for their driving abilities]) would be the "not expected to run at full capacity". Sure they are great drivers and cut very good laptimes but they are also much closer to having a major off than say someone cruising around in a GTS-t doing 15sec a lap slower. Stuart having a major off everytime he went into turn 1 at Oran Park could be considered "reckless driving". Sure he's not meaning to do it and goes home with a big grin on his face but it also poses as a massive risk to the track owner if some guy is constantly spinning off and possibly killing himself by taking out a tree or wall. Sure you may run wide on some corners or cut across the grass because its a new track and nobody knows it but if you go out there trying to be the next Peter Brock in the first half of your first lap expect to have a 1on1 with the track owner. I'm doing the Qualifying at the Anzac Day CircuitClub trackday in my nascup car but will take my ute to Peats Ridge because I just want to cruise around it and add it to my list of tracks ive been on.
  13. It's been a work in progress over the past 5yrs....
  14. It's been a work in progress over the past 5yrs....
  15. Went to the last CircuitClub Wakefield event on Australia Day and it was an extremely well run day, i've never ever had so much track time (im talking 10-15 lap sessions not 5 lap sessions like normal). I will be attending this day and more... Payment sent woooo
  16. My little race car will be too loud for this track I think however I was considering taking my ute and just do a dozen laps because I want to experience this track. Also, if you attend the Anzac day trackday with CircuitClub it can be used as your obersvation qualifying for the Peats Ridge track. Here are some of the T&C's: # No photos, no YouTube clips to be posted of this event on the internet – participants can take 20 or 100 photos and have these sent to owner to be vetted. The owner has software which trawls the internet picking up information/images of his track and will sue individuals if found to have posted these without his authorisation. # Street registered cars will be given preference due to limited area available for the parking of trailers – please advise if you have a trailer # Open top cars must be fitted with a roll cage (or have a factory structural bar support behind the driver’s seat for newer cars – please check with me) prior to participating at Peats Ridge. # No random spectators are allowed – each driver is allowed to bring 2x ‘pit crew’ members only and must arrive with the driver. This due to the limited parking and lack of amenities available on site as it is not a commercial venue. # If you car is unfit for participation on the day, you will be asked to leave and no refunds will be offered. Please ensure you complete a mechanical service prior to attending to ensure there are no fluid/oil leaks or loose parts inside the cabin or on the vehicle which could be dropped on the track. # Drivers are not expected to be driving at full vehicle capacity on the day – this is a VERY dangerous track, with no runoff areas so any reckless driving will not be tolerated and will result in instant dismissal without a refund.
  17. ...except when you see how late the rb26 creates that power
  18. I'm quite liking the torque of the v8, strap a set of twins to it and embarress the RB26 boys...
  19. Yup so they are running easily 250-270rwkw and about 550-600nm at the treads.
  20. I'm sure they'd be running more like 250rwkw+
  21. Correction, it's an SSV and a 6.2L and probably the only stock car there hehe
  22. You mean something like this Liz? PS. This ute has replaced the HiAce, have a truck now that does the courier work
  23. It's ok Liz im happy to provide my own results. 218.5rwkw from a totally stock L76 6.2L GM with 3,700km on the clock im very happy with that. Time to add an OTRCAI, Exhaust and Tune and bump that to about 270rwkw.
  24. I'll be down prob about 7pm to see what a stock 6.0L does (should be around 200rwkw) before the mods start.
  25. About 25mins of video but only of the camaro's.
