Well done to Duncan and Neil + partners on organising an awesome day. The venue was great, the lack of loud music was great, going home not sunburnt was great, many very nice cars and apart from a couple of carpark burnouts everyone got along well together. Days like this are the only time I miss not having a gtr or 2 in the garage Got plenty of ideas for the next event from an organisers p.o.v

Is a bbq being provided for lunch like at previous show n shines as I haven't read it anywhere? How close will the tow car/trailers be parked? in the background somewhere or out the front in the main public carpark?

You need a forwarding company like Priceusa.com (others exist). They will order and take delivery of the items in USA then repackage or simply forward it onto you with a small fee.

Oran Park does not hire helmets you can buy them for about $100-150 at any motorbike shop. You don't need a cams license, just your regular drivers license. How many spots left Fatz? I really want to do another OP day but also hate taking days off work

I have an interest in going interstate, would absolutely love to do PI. As usual though being a contractor just need afew months notice to save the pennys.

I did a similar thing... started watching from 9:30am the coverage from 7am and skipped all the repeated segments from fri/sat then caught up to the race, then did some stuff around the house went out n had lunch then caught up again with about 30 laps to go. I have no problems with the commentators except for Mathew White. The other guys do joke abit but they know alot of technical stuff that you wouldn't get from people like Greg Rust or Daryl Beattie.

...and where do we wait for these events to come up? The track websites are hopeless, unless an event is listed in the nsw/events section how else do we find out about these events being held? I'd love to try a hillclimb but dont even know where the hillclimb tracks are let alone how I can participate.
