  1. Last time my clutch pedal went to the floor its because the hydraulics was sitting in the 6th row of the grandstand at wsid
  2. e85 with a slice of lemon.
  3. About the only time FPR have been running hot this season....
  4. http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/results....10/2009.MOUN.R9 Was a great race, I think about 3x the top 3-4 cars all spun off at the same corner in sympathy of each other in the wet conditions.
  5. rofl Jason Bright in trouble already, why that bloke continues in the v8sc series is beyond me!
  6. HRT Hopefully BJR end of on their roof at some point throughout the day!
  7. Considering this is a regular digital camera that can take video, be used every day of the week and costs only $350 it is as good as any of the $800+ dedicated track video cameras that will only ever get used on the track and no where else. I think it is an absolute bargain. I've got a $250 voucher for GoodGuys when I bought my tv, think I might have to throw in the extra $100 cash and buy 1 of these digital cameras with video recording for my next track outing.
  8. How many confirmed you got so far?
  9. How wicked did the dino-line sound all day long
  10. It's in his video at about 2:30 just after I let them both past. Seem to do alot of excess gear changes neil.
  11. Had the pleasure of following (well....trying to keep up with) this car around Oran Park yesterday and it looks like a great little beast.
  12. As usual was a great day. Took forrrrrrever to get started I will seriously pay extra next time to not sit through another Gary Baxter driver briefing. The weather made the track quite interesting, spun on the first corner of the first lap doing about 40km/h, old warn semi slicks are not the right choice for a wet track Backed off abit for the next 2 sessions until I was confident but then the track dried out and I could have abit more fun! Can't wait for the next outing (hopefully somewhere before Xmas) and now I have about a month of weekends worth of work to do in the garage to make some aero adjustments
  13. Yo-Yo - thats a very common problem, the mechanic often doesn't set the steering wheel dead centre before making the adjustments. Your alignment is fine you just have to put up with driving with a steering wheel not sitting straight. Took me about 5 different workshops before I found a guy that would do it properly first time every time. NizmoMan - No helmet hire. Dave: Scrutineering will be 8-9am, driver briefing at 9am upstairs then start after that (last time it was about 10am, hopefully its quicker this time). Just get there at 7:30am to give yourself plenty of time to prepare your car so that soon as the driver briefing is finished all you have to do is put your helmet on and strap yourself in.
  14. I played golf at Camden Lakeside this morning (about 3km from Oran Park) didn't have a drop of rain all morning and the roads were dry. Get back to Penrith and its constant drizzle. Now... time to put my car back together and see if it works
  15. I think the weather will be the same as the skidpan at quakers hill, damp in the morning and threatening to rain all day with just a tiny shower now n then (but without the wind) but in all honesty I have no idea Yes have had tail lights for the past 2 events
  16. Someone charge this bloke extra!!! I'm assuming like last time that garages are not available for free?
  17. Took a couple of pics of Catalina Park today however I found this on YouTube that does a better job of the full track...
  18. Pre-Race in 5mins.
  19. I can feel a few " still in the garage at midnight" days coming up this week....
  20. Plenty of room left..
  21. Seeing as though Monday is a public holiday i'd offer to have a bbq at my place after the event but being out near Penrith (10km north) i'm not exactly central to anyone. Maybe a pub at Narellan would be a good place for dinner.
  22. Throw the used tyres onto the rear.
  23. Was outside working in it from 5am till 2pm. Got halfway up the mountains by 8am and had light rain which got rid of the dust but made my truck look like I had been driving through mud. The worst part of the day was the wind up the top of the mountains, I was in the back of the truck sorting out boxes and got hit by the wind side on that I actually thought another Landcruiser had smashed into me, thats how badly the truck was rocking.
  24. spectation is free, or you could even be a flag marshall.
  25. Everytime i'm at Gordon Leven's he talks me out of full slicks (for my little car) because as duncan said they will go off and lose grip before you wear them out. The constant heat cycles of our trackday sessions is worse than just throwing them on and driving non stop till they are down to the wear markers. Also, he has most sizes of semi + slicks for under $100 used (by used I mean 1 trackday or 1 supersprint event).
